Kim Tae's POV

"I'll call you everyday! I promise!" I say to my crying parents, or more likely to be called guardians, as I walk to get on my plane. Just from one look at my family, you could tell I was adopted. I was originally born in Korea, but my parents had abandoned me after giving birth to me. The ironic part is that they had a child before me. No surprise right?

Currently, I am going to Korea to study abroad and of course because South Korea is where I'm from. Not only am I here for school, but I want to find my real parents and sibling. Preparing to do this, I have been studying Korean for the past 3 years now and can speak it fluently.

I put my (hard) carry-on underneath my seat, put in my headphones, and start to go to sleep. This is going to be a long flight.

*At airport in Korea*

I grab all my things and head off of the plane. Pause! Now before we get started on this wonderful adventure, let me explain to you how I look. I have short hair, a wrapped up chest, and wear boys clothes. 'Why does a girl look like this?' You may ask. Well, I'm going to an all boys school. Okay, back to the story! I step out side of the airport and step out into Seoul which was amazing! I ask around for directions to the famous academy, PAAB or Performing Arts Academy for Boys. Once I finally get the directions to the school from a very helpful pedestrian, I take the bus and arrive at the front gate. Blocking the gate were a bunch of girls screaming and jumping saying something about their "Oppa". Ignoring the chaos, I begin to walk towards the side gate but am stopped by a middle aged man. He must be a teacher.

"You don't look like one of my students, do you?" He says. I start to tap my foot and blow the hair out of my face. "I'm the new transfer student here." I say. "How can I believe that you're male-" "Sir, you honestly think I'm a girl? Aish, Really." I start to pull out my transfer papers and hand them to him. Without saying another word, the teacher let me by.

As I stepped inside the gate, my eyes couldn't believe how big this academy was. There were buildings left and right. I was like an entire city inside of another city! I start walking on the sidewalk to the actual school. As I got closer to the school, I saw a lot of guys (good looking at that) walking around the campus. What have I gotten myself into?  I sigh but regain my confidence by thinking about why I came here.

I walk into the front office and get everything I needed for my stay here. "You'll be staying in a dorm by yourself since all the other rooms are filled. It's over in dorm building 3. Also, try and relax and get to know the place." said a pretty female teacher with a smile on her face. I smile back and leave the office. I pull out the school map that I got and start walking towards dorm building 3. Honestly, I got lost along the way looking for it. I step into the building and stare at the space in here. To my left; a lounge room. To my right; a computer room with a laundry room connected to it. In front of me, an elevator and countless dorm rooms. I walk forward cautiously, afraid I might get lost  again. I click the up button on the elevator, walk inside, and click the number 5. I was on the highest level besides the roof.

After stepping off of the elevator, I try to scope out dorm room number 525. It was all the way at the end of the hallway. After rushing down the hall, I quickly and stealthily open my door and shut it behind me with a sigh of relief. On the other hand, the room was huge! There were two beds, one of the regular level, then another one above on a second level with a spiral staircase. I quickly pull my suitcase up the stairs and put it up there. I would rather have the top floor. I go back down and look at the two desks, couches to the left of that and a door that led to the bathroom in front of that.

I smile and spin around. I get this all to myself for the time being! In the closet across from the bathroom, my uniform was hanging there with my name pinned to it. There were black pants, a white short sleeve shirt, a black tie and a black blazer only for the winter. It was summer, so I didn't need the jacket. The shoes of course: personal choice. What did I choose? My purple converse high tops.
