By Their Side (BTS)(Hobi)

Chapter 10

Kim Tae's POV

"I'm going to look at you as a woman now so you should start looking at me as man." Taehyung finishes. I stare up at his face, unable to mutter a single word. He smiles some and rubs my hair before releasing the embrace. "So don't worry. Your secret is safe with me. I promise." He says while smiling with his rectangular smile. I blink rapidly, unable to process anything going on. He laughs and blushes some which made my heart beat a little faster. He isn't Hoseok. What is wrong with you? I clear my throat some and smile awkwardly. "I-I'll trust you then." I stutter. He nods at me and smiles some causing me to relax a bit. "But if you dare tell anyone, you'll be dead. Is that clear?" I ask glaring at him some. He moves back a little with an awkward smile and an 'okay' hand sign. "Deal." I nod my head before going towards the roof door and unlocking it. I look back at Taehyung to see him following me. I smile some before heading back down to the other members in the practice room.

As I open the door, everyone in the room turns their attention to where I was. "Where did you go?" Jimin asks quickly. "A-ah. We just had a small talk on the roof, nothing in particular." I say awkwardly. He nods some before drinking some water. "But where's Taehyung?" Yoongi asks. "I don't know..." I begin before looking around me. I turn around to look in the hallway to see Taehyung right behind me. I jump back a bit in surprise. He winks at me before rubbing my hair and entering the room. Badump. I feel the blood rush to my face as he walks past me. Get yourself together, Kim Tae! I hit my face some before entering the room after Taehyung. I sit down back at my food and resume eating normally. This is really good food. Before continuing eating, I hear the door open to see Ho Beom enter. "Hello guys." He says energetically. We all mumble a 'hey' in between our eating. "Well," He clears his throat. "We are going to stay a little later today than planned." He continues. I look over at him without chewing and hope that my inner thoughts get to him. Let this be a joke...

"Why?" Namjoon asks. "Good question." Ho Beom answers with a smile. "This isn't class..." I mumble under my breath. "You must have forgotten since you've been working so hard, but tomorrow is Christmas, so you'll get the day off. I forgot as well, to be honest. So in order to make up for part of the lost time, we are going to the actual venue to practice instead of staying here." He finishes. I sigh and look down at my food. I didn't even realize that tomorrow is my birthday or Christmas. I slowly take a bite of food and close my eyes as I chew. "Is that okay with everyone?" Ho Beom asks after a few moments. I look around to see everyone nod their head some and smile. They must have something to do. I don't think I've told anyone that my birthday is on Christmas either. I sigh and get up to throw my food away. I wasn't hungry anymore.

"Are you okay?" Taehyung asks as I come back to where we were sitting. I nod my head some and slide down the wall to eventually reach the floor. I put my legs out in front of me and sigh deeply. "Is it about what I said?" Taehyung whispers after leaning towards me. I shake my head and stare down at my shoes. So this is where my bad luck is coming in to balance out the good... The rest of the members soon finish eating after I do, and we head to the van with with Ho Beom. I close the car door behind me as I get in after everyone else. "Are we all set?" Ho Beom asks. We all nod, and he begins to drive us to the venue site. At a stop light, I look up to see a picture of BTS on a digital billboard sponsoring the concert in 2 days. I sigh some before closing my eyes as I listen to the others talk about their plans for tomorrow. "My family is coming up here tomorrow for Christmas and the concert as well." Jin says. "Mine too." Jimin adds. "What about you, Kim Tae?" Yoongi asks. I open my eyes and quickly turn my head towards them before flashing them a fake smile. "Nothing much. I'll probably just hang around in my room." I say a little unenthusiastically, which was not my intention. The others look at me with sad expression which causes me to laugh some. "It's fine, really." I say while smiling some.
