Holy. Crap. Mr. football captain himself actually talked to me! Not that I care or anything, but wow, is he hot. I smiled encouragenly as he took the stage. "But soft; what light through yonder window breaks? It is the East, and Juliet is the sun! Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon." I was mesmorized. He delivered those lines with majestic skill. There was absolutly no way he wouldn't get the part. I looked around at all the other girls in the room, and they were all drooling over him, as expected. I spotted Lisa in the corner and tried to get her attention, but she was stuck in her own universe. I rolled my eyes at them and turned my attention back towards Romeo. He bowed and exited the stage. "That was amazing!" I said as he sat down. "Thanks, Juliet. My mother always hoped we would do this play so that she could watch me play her favorite character ever." I smiled. That's so cool. He shrugged and turned to watch his competition, none of which were nearly as good.

-2 hours later-

"And here is our cast list for the 2013 rendition of Romeo and Juliet!" The casting director called to get our attention. Everyone looked at her, nervousness on everyone's face. "As Romeo, Romeo Mills!" I turned to Romeo. "Congratulations! I knew you would get the part." He smiled. "Thanks. Now, let's hear your name." I blushed and turned my attention back towards the casting director. "As Juliet, Juliet Copollo." Romeo smirked at me. "Told ya." I laughed. "As the nurse, Lisa Fischer!" I found Lisa in the crowd and gave her a thumbs-up. She smiled at me and gave me one back. Thankfully, she didn't notice that Romeo was standing right beside me. "Do you know her? Lisa, I mean?" I smiled, turning towards Romeo. "Yeah, she's my best friend." He smiled. "Well, that makes sense." I nodded. "Hey, do you want to go get dinner or something? To celebrate?" Holy. Crap. Did he just ask me out? "Sure! I mean, I could go for dinner." I mentally slapped myself for sounding so eager and desperate. Romeo laughed. "Awesome. I know this great little diner downtown. Sound good?" I nodded, then realized that I had missed the rest of the cast list. "Oh well," I said to myself. Everyone filed out of the auditorium, and I met Lisa outside, Romeo right behind me. "Congrats, Lisa!" She smiled. "And to you, Ms. Capulet." We smiled at each other, then she noticed Romeo. "Lisa, this is Romeo. Romeo, my best friend Lisa." Lisa was speechless for awhile, before finally gathering herself up and sticking out her hand. "Nice to meet you, Romeo." He smiled and shook her hand. "And you, Lisa. Congrats on the role." She laughed. "And to you, Mr.Montigue." He laughed as well. "Well, Lis, we're going to go get dinner. I'll text you later." She looked at me, astonished, before smiling. "You better. I want every detail, chica." I laughed. "Whatever, Lis. Bye."
