It had been 8 months since Kenny Hermann had entered the world and joined the ever growing family that is 51.. His arrival had brought love to his parents and the other firefighters and paramedics as well as well as a lot of fun and games especially when it came to his first word all hoping that he'd either say a name or a very mature thing like poop or wee to everyone's enjoyment.

Kenny had been coming to the firehouse having fun with each person hoping they'd win the nice cash price at the end of it "how is it fair that Hermann gets to spend more time with Kenny he could be cheating!" Otis asked to everyone's amazement "Otis who is Kenny's father?" Casey asked not looking up from his coffee "Hermann" Otis was beyond confused right now he knew that "so who does Kenny live with?" Casey asked trying to get Otis to understand "Hermann" Otis once again replied "Matts too polite to say Hermann gets to spend more time with Kenny because Hermann is Kenny's father!!" Kelly called over from the squad table shaking his head as he did so everyone else smirking at the response "oh I never thought of it that way" with that the pagers went off.

After an easy fire and no victims firehouse 51 were feeling quite content and chilled even more so Witt the arrival of Kenny Hermann who bubbled and gurgled to himself for about 4 hours until the moment they'd all been waiting for Kenny was playing on the floor when his little head shot up as he scanned the area before crawling towards Hermann looking him in the eyes before shouting "Dadda!" Everyone was awwww ing before the groaning started "told you he was cheating" Otis said before walking off "he just knows who his Dadda is... That's my boy!!" Hermann called after him as everyone smiled and laughing at little Kenny's first word. This boy will go places.
