"Hey Couf! Can I come into the barricade?" I chase Coufeyrac around the streets of Paris yelling this as he yells "No!" back. I don't normally run long distances so I tire easily. By the time I ran for ten mintutes, I had enough. Couferyac (acting a bit like Marius here) kept running until he ran in a big circle and ended up right where I was waiting for him.
"How?where? why?" Couferyac asked while still panting from the run.
"I got tired and just waited here"
"So I could have stopped an hour ago?"
"pretty much" Coufeyrac sighs and sits in front of the barricade.
"Why won't you leave me alone?"
"Because I want to be let into the barricade!"
"I can't!"
"Why?!?"
"Because Enjolras doesn't want you into the barricade!"
"So, you don't have to do everything Enjy says!"
"I know...but....he scares me"
"I know right...his hair is SO scary!"
"No, not his hair!"
"Really? Then there's nothing much more scary about him"
"His GUN maybe?"
"How do you find THAT scary?"
"You don't"
"I honestly don't think he'll be able to shoot me....he's too slow..."
"Well I don't want to take the chance"
"PLEASSEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Coufeyrac rolls his eyes and screams.
"I CAN'T!!!!!"
"What about that secret passage way?"
"You know about that?"
"I know now! I just guessed before" Coufeyrac hits himself in the head and then turns back to me.
"Show me show me show me!!!!!!!!!!" Coufeyac puts his hand over my mouth to keep me quiet.
"If I show you the secret passage way, WILL YOU SHUT UP???" I nod and then bite his hand.
"OW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR!!!"
"I don't like people trying to keep me quiet"
"Well obviously"
"Just show me the passage way!" Coufeyrac leads me though the buildings that surround the barricade and we finally come to a building. Coufeyrac pushes the old wooden door and it creeks open.
"If you go through here, you can get to a door that leads you into the barricade."
"Yay! Thanks" I try to high five Coufeyrac, but instead I "accidentally" hit him in the head. I run through the door. Excitement overwhelms me. 'I'm finally going to get into the barricade!' I think.
"Me? What are you doing here?" I hear a voice say beside me. Uh oh.
