Book 7 chapter one: good bye

Three hours laters.

Halo wakes up on the couch, she tries to sit up," Ow." Zak walks over he puts on hand on her shoulder," Lay down." Halo," what happened?" Zak," You cut yourself a lot, you tried to kill me and I knocked you out with a pan." she looks at her arms and sees she patch up, Halo," Why?" Zak," You had a panic attack again last night and i didn't waked up to it." Halo," I went mental didn't I?" Zak," Yah." Halo," Sorry." Zak," Don't worry it's not your fault." Halo," But it is." Zak," It's not, you can control it." his phone beeps, he looks at the screen," Uhhh i got to go." Halo," Why?" Zak," That doesn't matter. Don't get up." He runs out the door.

Later.

It's dark, he's laying on a hill outside a heavily guarded building, Sam," Can you get in?" Zak," Yah, easily." Zak gets up and quietly runs the building. he leans up against the wall, he pull out a small ear peas and puts it in his ear, Zak," Sam can you hear me?" Sam," Yep." Zak," Remember what i thought you?" Sam," yah, hack the cams, don't set off alarms." Zak," Good." Sam," You remember what you're doing?" Zak," Yah, go in grab the second hard drive in storage C." Sam," Good." Zak," What is on it?" Sam," Secret blueprints to split throw to different dimensions." Zak," really!?" Sam," Yes." Zak," Ok i got it." He looks around the corner and sees two heavily armed guards, he pulls up his mask, he sneaks up behind them, grabs their heads and slams then into each other knocking them out. he searches them, he finds a key card, he walks up to the door and unlocks it and walks in. he reaches the end of the hall, he leans up against a wall, sam," Three coming your way." he pulls out a silenced pistol, he goes around the corner, guard one," Oh shit." They pull up their guns, Zak, shoots them one the head, one by they fall to the floor. he runs down the hall and to a elevator, he scans the key card and the the doors open, he steps in, the doors close he presses Basement, it started going down, he holds up his pistol and looks at it, he pulls the slide back a bit and checks his amo, the doors open, he walks out. He runs down another hallway, Sam," five coming your way." he puts the gun away and pulls out a blade, he runs around the corner he he runs along the wall, the guards come around the corner and see him, guard," HEY!" Zak jumps and points the blade down, he falls and stabs the guard in the head he pulls the blade out blood running down the blade, a guard points his gun at him Zak grabs the gun and points it away from him, he stabs the guard in the neck, he pulls the blade out and lets go of the gun they fall to the ground, Zak spins around cutting two guards throats, they fall to the floor, the last guard pois a shotgun at his head," End of the line." Zak," You sure." The guard feels his shirt is wet, he looks down and sees the blade in his chest, he looks at zak then falls the ground, Zak pulls the blade out, he runs down the hall. he reaches a big room of hard drives plugged up to huge ports, he starts looking," C...C...C..... Here you are." He stops and goes two down and grabs it, he starts to walk out, he makes it halfway down the hallway when an alarm goes off, Zak," Uhhhhh, here we go again." he runs out. Sam sees him run out and the hard drive in his hand," Yes he has it." he runs up the hill," Here, he hands it to her, Sam," Thanks." "Gun shot" blood runs down zak's shirt, he falls to his knees, Sam," NO!" she drops next to him, "gun shot" a bullet hit next to her, she grabs him and drags him into a safe spot, Sam," Zak!" Zak holds up a key, blood running from his mouth," take this." She grabs it, Zak dies in her arms.
