Chapter 2

He gets in his car, turns it on shuts the door, and drives off.

~The next day ~

Zak is sitting on the couch Halo and Sam walk in and throw a shotgun in his lap, Zak," What?" he looks at them, Halo," Quinn, Dairen." Zak stands up fats checking the shotgun and pumps it," Let's go." He runs out the door, they follow him, he is in the running impala, they get in, Halo," Old base." He looks at the mirror and speeds off.

~later~

He pulls up slams on the and spins the wheel so it slides and stops picking up sand and dust, as it's still moving he hops out and runs up the hill to the cave, he kicks in the door and no one is there, then to people appear behind, quinn swings a knife zak ducks and the knife misses he hits quinn in the gut in the stomach with the butt of the shotgun sending him flying backward Zak dives back landing on his back, he points the shotgun at at Dairen, he pulls the trigger Dairen dives out of the way, Zak pumps the shotgun, he stands up and looks around and doesn't see them, they hop down from the ceiling zak turns around, quinn grabs the barrel of the gun and rips from him and throw it away, Zak swings a punch hitting him in the face sending him flying backward, Dairen swings a punch Zak grabs his fist out of the air, he pulls him in close punch him in the face sending him flying backward he slips from his hand, Sam and Halo run in, Quinn and Dairen stand up and they run at him Zak jumps spins in the air and kicks them both in the face, Halo," Shit." Sam," Damn." Zak lands on his feet, they stand up, Zak jumps up and kicks Quinn in the face snapping his neck and it echoes, Sam," Shit! that was loud." Dairen looks at Quinn the Zak, Dairen pulls a knife out of his pocket, he spins it around so the top of the knife is under his arm, and runs at Zak, he grabs Zak by the shirt and puts the blade up to his neck, Zak spits in his face, Dairen lets go of Zak and falls over, he wipes his face, Dairen stands up, Dairen runs at Zak, Zak roundhouse kicks him in the face breaking his skull killing him, Zak walks over to them, Zak," What did you guy think?" Halo and Sam are both pale as a ghost, Zak," Hey." He snaps his fingers, they look at him, Halo," Uuuhhh." Zak," What?" Sam," Uh nothing." he turns around and picks up the shotgun," Can we go?" He walks between them and out the door, Sam looks around," What is this place?" Halo," Afer two of zak's friends tried to kill him, zak blow up his house and had this place to fall back to." Sam," Oh." Halo turns around and walks out, Sam turns around and looks back, she turns back and walks out.

~later in the car~

Zak pulls up to hotel, Halo," are we staying here?" He turns off the car, he steps out of the car, the other two step out after him, he walks up to the wall of the side of the hotel, Sam," What are you doing." They stand next to him, Zak," When I say jump, jump." He pulls his phone out," Jump." He hits a button on the screen, they jump and they go flying up and they land on the roof, Halo," Woe." Sam," What was that?" he stomps twice and a room slide up out of the room, he opens the door and walks in, they follow him, Halo," What is this?" Zak," Another base. Me and Kate came here but Jack and MC were waiting here and shot us." Halo," Bulletproof vest?" Zak," Yep." Sam," What are we doing here?" Zak sits on a chair and knocks over a picture on a small table next to him and the wall behind Sam and Halo opens, they turn around and in the room are guns and explosives and more, Sam," Shit." Zak gets up and walks in, he looks around walks back out with bags," Pack them up I'll be back." They nod.

~later~

Zak pulls up to a house and he stops the car and turns off the car, he pulls out a gun he pulls out the clips and checks it, he puts it back and and loads a bullet in the chamber, he gets out of the car and walks up to the door, he kicks it in runs ready to shoot, he lowers the gun, he is then hit over the head with a pipe.

~sometime later~

He walks up tied to a chair," Shit..." One single light is hanging above him and the rest of the room is dark, a girl with long black hair, combat boots, a black shirt, black jeans, and a black leather jacket walks in front of him and she is smoking," Hello Zak." She says softly, Zak," What do you want Maya." he struggles she leans in close to him, she looks into his eyes, she takes the cigarette out of her mouth and burns his arm with it, Zak screams. His wrist has a small red flashing light under his skin.

~back with Sam and Halo~

hey got all the weapons Halo hears a beeping, Halo looks up and sees a map an address, Halo," Sam." Sam," What?" Halo," We need to go save Zak." Sam." What!?" Halo," Let's go." Sam," He took the car." She looks over and sees two speeders.

~Zak~

He is bloody, clothes burnt, arm and wrist are cut and have cigarette burns. Zak looks like he's about to pass out, Maya is over at a table looking at knives, razor wire, blow torches and more," What to do next." Then she hears footsteps, she looks up, she looks back down and grabs a knife, she walks up the stairs, she looks around and sees nothing, she turns around and sees Halo and Sam, Halo," Boo." She shoots Maya in the head, she falls to the floor, they turn and run down the stairs. They run up to Zak, halo," Shit!" they untie him and carry him out to the car and lay him in the back seat, Halo takes the keys from his pocket turns on the car and drives away.
