Book 11 Chapter 1

~six months later~

Alex pulls up to the house, as she's driving up the to the house a newspaper flies on to the windshield and the headline read " Vote for  benash!". She stops the car, turns it off and gets out, she takes the newspaper off the windshield and crumples it up and throws it, she walks up to the front door, she reaches out to open the door but her hand stops right in front of the doorknob, she grabs it and opens the door. She steps in and the house seems empty until she looks at the couch where zak is sleeping, she walks up to the couch, as she walks but a window she looks out it and sees the impala is totalled, she then looks over at Zak and sees has stitches on his arms and legs and the top his head is wrapped up, she walks around the couch and sits on the little space left on the couch, she puts on hand on his shoulder, he slowly groans awake, he opens his eyes and looks at Alex, Zak tries to sit up but groans loudly in pain, Alex," What happened?"

~Flash back~

Zak is driving the impala down a road as he's being chased by a car, he throws a grenade out the window and misses the car, one of the men lean out the window of their car and shoots zak's back tired causing the car to flip end over end.

~end of flashback~
Zak," Gun fight." he says in pain, Alex," Wait... remember back when quinn killed you?" Zak," Yeah?" He groans, Alex," Remember what happened before?" Zak," Yeah, you got powers, i dumped kate and we started dating then we got confused and me and kate we still dating." Alex," Yeah." Zak," So?" Alex," Are we still...?" Zak," No. I mean I was I guess still with kate, and then you had Roman." Alex," Yeah, you're right." he sits up slowly," Where were you?"

~Flashback~

Alex is sitting in the grass beside a lake as the sun is setting, the orange gold reflects off the water and onto her face.

~End of flashback~Alex,"Just need space."
