Kellin POV

It’s five in the morning. I’ve been up for five hours thinking about Megan. There was a reason she made me sing Roger Rabbit. I hate that I can’t be next to her and sing her back to sleep. I hate what I’ve done. I need to get up. I jumped out of bed and saw a package on the floor downstairs. The first one was an envelope.

Dear Quinn Family,

Rise Records are having a party to celebrate the following bands from our records and many others for an awesome performance at Warped Tour ’13 this year. This envelope encloses that you are Kellin Quinn from Sleeping with Sirens. The rest of your band has been notified. You may bring a “date” and have an amazing time. The date is printed below and we hope to see you soon Mr. Quinn.

The date was a month from today. I was kinda excited to see the rest of my band members. I haven’t seen them since we moved. The next was a box. I looked at it and it read Antidepressants.

Megan’s prescription.

I wonder if she’s been taking them.

My phone began to ring and I was hoping it was Megan.

But no. It’s Gabe.

“Hey Kellin.”

“Hey man.”

“Gee what crawled up your ass and died?”

“Everything.” I sighed.

“Well, did you get a letter from Rise Records too?”

“Yeah, I just finished reading mine.”

“Are you bringing Megan?” I chocked back on a sob.

“Me and Megan, we don’t, we,” I felt a tear drop.

“Hey man, are you crying?” I wiped away some tears. I opened my mouth to say something, but he cut me off. “Don’t you lie to me Kellin.”

“Yes. Me and Megan are done. I didn’t trust her and uh,”

“Aw, Kellin!! You two are meant for each other!”

“I know that now.”

“Look. I gotta go. But I will be over there later and we are talking about this.” He hung up, leaving me with my tears. I went to retrieve Audry and I set her in my lap as I sat on the floor. I leaned down and planted kisses all over her neck.

“Audry, do you hate me?” she looked at me and reached for my face. “I’ll take that as a no.”

Austin POV

I flipped over to the other side of the mattress and fell off the floor. My dog ran and began to lick my face.

“Ew. Down boy.” He got down and ran down the stairs like crazy. I went downstairs to see what he was after and I saw him all cuddled up on Megan’s lap. When she saw me her eyes widen.

“Oh, hey. I didn’t want to wake you.” She rubbed behind his ears. She had own one of my shirts and sweat pants, which are too big for her, but a rubber band is holding them up. She pointed to the kitchen where a plate of bacon and pancakes were waiting. “Got bored. So I made some food. By the way, you need some food.” I smiled and went to scarf down my food. She was on her phone and at one point, she screamed her head off. Then she went back scrolling. Last night was still a hazy memory for me. she got up and slipped on her converse.

“Be back.” And walked out the door. I just sat there confused.

Megan POV

I ran away from the house. Away from it all. I fell in the middle of the road and cried. I feel dead on the inside. I don’t exist. Now all I have to do is wait for a truck to come and run me over. I curl up on the road and await my death. Not only have I lost Kellin and Vic, my nana decides to die as well. I might as well be dead. I can’t keep losing people. I’ve already lost Andy to Juliet and that leaves Austin. But he’s already a broken soul. Kellin words come back to me.
