EVANGELINE
"Thank you for staying at our hotel," said the kind lady at the check-in desk of the hotel where I was staying. "I hope you would visit again."
"No, thank you for your great hospitality," I said, then paid her and left.
When I got to the entrance of Magnolia, I groaned. "Ughhhh, the train station is too far!!!!"
I decided to use my teleportation spell. The distance of the train station shouldn't be too bad for me to feel the side effects, but yet, I used it twice yesterday. After thinking for 20 seconds the most, I came up with the conclusion to frig it and use the spell anyway.
"Teleport," I said, and then was suddenly greeted with a bright light. When the light died down, something wasn't looking right.
"What the juice?" I said as I looked around. Tomato trees, heads of lettuce, cabbages, and other vegetables surrounded me. "Where am I?"
"AHHHHHHH!"
Suddenly I heard a scream. It sounded familiar, as if I heard it before.
I ran to the sound, only to be greeted with a swarm of butterflies in a field full of holes.
They look as if they were surrounding something as they chanted, "Death."
"Okay," I said as I held my right palm out. "Ice magic: Ice Shards!"
A large light blue spell circle appeared from my palm, and immediately, thousands of ice shards shot out. The deadly winged beasts began to fall and flail all over the ground all while oozing dark blue blood.
The few that managed to evade my attack flew straight for me.
I held my hand out again, a huge blue spell circle formed on the floor. 'I have to make this as big as I can to get all.' "Ice magic: Sphere Trap!" I screamed. A bunch of little bubbles began to form around the butterflies. I closed my hand and watched as the little ice bubbles began to get smaller and smaller, and the butterflies began to get crushed. Suddenly, all the bubbles popped.
When I was done, I had a few splotches of blue blood here and there, and I was panting. The magic circle disappeared as I put my hands on my knees to catch myself. When I had somewhat caught my breath, I walked over to the two figures on the floor.
I gasped when I saw that one of them was Lucy. I knew that scream was familiar. I dropped down to her side and began to shake her.
"Lucy!" I said as I tried to wake her.
"Evangeline," she groaned as she opened her eyes. I helped her sit up. Suddenly, she began looking around frantically. "FREED!" she shouted.
"No need to shout Lucy," said a voice. "I'm okay." I looked to my left to find a young man with lime green hair with two tiny pieces sticking up in the shape of lightning bolts. He was wearing a red double breasted coat and he had a sword in his hand.
"Thanks for saving us Evangeline," said Lucy as we got up. "What are you doing here anyway? I thought you left Magnolia."
"It was raining, and the train was derailed," I explained.
"LUCY!" shouted Freed. My head whipped towards him and my mouth fell agape as he had his sword pointed towards me. "Get away from her. She's a criminal!"
Lucy's eyes widened in shock.
"Criminal?" she asked.
"Yes, she was a part of the Dark Guild, Dark Soul League. I know that, because I went on a mission to turn that guild in to the Royal army 3 years ago," he explained. "I recognize her from that fiery red hair on her head."
"Eva, Eva is that true?" asked Lucy, however, I was in too much shock to respond. After 3 whole years of looking, my savior was right in front of me, however to him I was the enemy.
I was snapped out of my trance by Lucy yelling, "Freed STOP!"
I looked to see Freed writing an enchantment; however that wasn't the alarming thing. A butterfly was behind him. Thinking quickly, I cast a spell. "Ice Magic: Ice Needle!" A light blue spell circle formed around my hand, and an ice needle shot out, impaling the butterfly in the head.
Suddenly, my vision began to get blurry, and my heart began to beat fast.
'Just when I thought that I wasn't going to be feeling the side effects of teleporting.'
I began to cough in my hand. When I removed it, I saw splotches of red.
"Well, this isn't good," I said before blacking out.
