It's been three years now, and I haven't been able to track him down. I vowed that I would find him, and thank him for saving my life. Without him, I would have been a goner. I clenched my fists as I painfully remembered that day.

"NO," I begged. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to bring harm to the guild!"

I was kicked square in the jaw, and screamed as my right upper arm began to burn. My guild mark had been removed. A small pang of sadness began to wash over me. I had become accustomed to this guild. I had spent almost a year here after all.

"Shut up, you useless girl. We thought you were a highly skilled wizard, but all you were was some snot nosed brat hiding from her debt!"

I let out a scream a heavy blow was delivered to my gut, and a gasp escaped my pale lips as my long red hair was yanked.

"Because of you, our guild has been targeted by other guilds. We may be a dark one, but you're a dirty thief who steals from other guilds for your own gain!"

Punches and kicks were thrown at my helpless body, and I couldn't do a thing about it. All of my magic had run out from my last venture.

"You stole from the dark guild, Phantom Lord and now they're on our butts cause of your relations to us. Just look at the guild, they trashed it!"

A roundhouse kick was delivered to my face as I skidded across the floor of my 'guild.'

"Now to exterminate the pest."

I watched in horror as the guild master held out his palm and a dark purple magic circle began to form.

"This is for landing us in the hot seat, trash!"

I shut my gray orbs as I prepared to die.

'So this is it huh? I always thought I would go out cause of my own magic.'

"Black Soul Sucker!" (made up xD)

I waited for the impact, but nothing came but the scream of the guild master.

"Wait, what the crap!"

I opened my eyes only to find the guild master pounding his hands against an invisible wall.

"Let me go this instant!" he yelled.

"I'm afraid that I can not comply with your request," said a rich and velvet voice.

I looked up and cast my eyes on a mysterious hooded figure.

"Well I will just blast my way out!" yelled the guild master, who held out his hand to cast a spell. "Ahhhhhhh!" he yelled as electric shocks ravaged his body.

"All those who use magic in this space will be electrocuted," said the hooded figure.

He then unsheathed his sword, and immediately, a bunch of inscriptions began to appear.

"All those bare the mark of this guild, Dark Soul League, will be rendered unable to move!" said the hooded figure. Just as he said that, all of my guild members, well ex-guild members began to drop to the floor. "The royal army will be here to collect you shortly."

I tried to get up, but my body refused. I was out of magic, and I took a beating.

I stared at the hooded figure's retreating form. In a way, I felt like I had to thank him. When I think about it, if he hadn't showed up when he did, I would have been dead. As he retreated, the wind blew, and a lock of light green hair was revealed, then he disappeared into thin air.

Me bumping into something hard forced me out of my memories.

"Hey watch where you're going," came an angry voice.

"Sorry," I apologized and continued on my way. I wasn't going to stop until I found him.

I sat down at a nearby café and for some reason, I found myself listening to a conversation between two men.

"Hey dude, have you heard about the Thunder gods?"

"Yeah man, and I heard they've got a mage who practices enchantment magic in their team. Isn't your kid interested in that kind of magic?"

My ears perked up at enchantment magic.

"They're members of the Fairy Tale guild in Magnolia.

'Magnolia?'

"Excuse me miss," said the maid as she came to take my order, but I was excited. It could be him.

I got up and pushed pass her and out of the café.

After 3 long years, I can finally thank my savior.
