"You shouldn't have lied to her Andelina... she'll figure it out" i spoke to the great dragon leading our way.
" what's this Neris? you feel for her?" Andelina spoke not once turning her head. " I wouldn't mind..but right now.. we have to get to Mount Kistelia.
"andelina...you must be careful... if she finds out about the reason for our disappearing she might be hurt" Iris spoke calmly.
Andelina was silent. She didn't speak even after we got to the mountain. She stayed quiet the whole time and only came out few minutes before sunset.
"now it shall begin.." she finally spoke to all of us but stood close to me and looked out to the dazzling sun that melted away into the night.
The moment the sun was out of slight, everything started to change. Dragons that had gathered here started to roar painfully as the changes occur. Those were the newly matured dragons , those who were accustomed to this pain stayed silently accepting the changes that was taking place. Soon the painful roars tuned into cries, then moans and then all was silent.
i looked to my left, were Andelina stood once, and found not a dragon but a person that looked almost like Zaleena. This woman was chad with a scarlet dress that had the same colour as Anderlina's radiant scales.
"Neris are you going to keep staring at me with that expression?" the woman asked and instantly my jaw dropped wide open. The woman who just spoke was Andelina and she looked astonishing. "not bad yourself"
I knew what i looked like maybe i should tell her. "Andelina i need to speak to you." She motioned to speak. "In private"
She nodded and we both entered a small cavern inside the larger cavern. "Now what is it?"
"You do know that we,ice dragons get special abilities when we mature.. and sometimes it not only one special ability?"
"Yes i do know that... whats the matter? Is this what you wanted to tell me?"
" I have the ability to change into a dragon or to this form whenever i want" i said in one breath.
"Umm... well thats good isn't it we can have you go and check on Zaleena if its necessary... but does it work with this curse in active.?"
" im not sure... but ill try" i tried to remember my training of changing back into a dragon but nothing happened. "That's a no... I'm sorry"
Andelina gave a pitied smile and looked out into the star lit sky.
" Try as much as you can...but don't push yourself too hard too. Zaleena should be able to look after herself"
Andelina left with that leaving me inside the inner caves. Her brightness slowly fading away, growing dimmer and dimmer, until I was left in the cold dark cave.
