Chapter 2

Sorry to keep you guys waiting I got really busy these few days or rather months. I am really sorry. I thought I of putting pictures into every chapter so you guys could get a good idea on what the place looked like.
The picture for this chapter is what I thought of how the black dragons kingdom looked like. I don't want to give anymore spoilers so please enjoy. Love y'all

Taking flight I grunted for the pain on my chest and the purple fog blown at me stung my eyes like a thousand needles. 'I never knew there was a human in this area... It can't be.. ' I thought as I entered our part of Ephora.

Looking down at the undergrowth I saw Makein blasting fire at the trees. 'she's crazy ' I thought to myself, swooping down close to her and slightly knocking my hand on her head. The impact wasn't in the least painful but because of being such a highly exaggerative person she bellowed in pain.

''what was that for.. '' she screeched.

''you know why... This growth helps us in many ways and you go burning all this...what are you crazy or just dumb!?!'' I returned sharply.

'' I didn't mean too but.. This nymph.. Was sooo annoying... And arrrh '' she screeched again seeing the nymph peeking out from behind a tree and blew sparks of fire at her. I shook my head and clasped her fire igniting mouth with my hand bringing her to a stop. ''you do know that they are the things that keeps this place green... And hurting them means less coverage for us.. Now unless you want that; you better stop this and come back with me... I have something to tell him.. I'll tell you on the way " I said and with that Makein's mood changed completely, it was now filled with curiosity and wonder. We took flight. Heading North. Toward's a place any normal dragon dreaded to go, hard as it was-it was protected, only a selected few could go through and there were only four of us.

We entered the dark aroma filled void which then lead us into a place where everything was darkened to its core. The evergreen grass was replaced by grey thorn hedges which clumped up the ground. The mystic blue sky was now a foggy green with a dark aroma all over. I took a deep breath in and exhaled in pleasure. As we pushed further into the heart of our nation stood its pride. Between two sharply sloped and sharp pointy grey mountains stood our fortress. Made out of black metals and black diamond tops that glistened during every sunrise and sunset. The fortress stood tall and majestic. As a small black dot I saw him move around in his balcony. Makein and I sent bolts of fire as a signal of our arrival which he returned by waving his hand and making fire seep out of it.

As we entered the platform to the balcony. We took our human forms and bowed.

''Father I need to talk to you about something '' I said getting to my feet.

'' later later... I'm in the middle of something important '' was his only reply that made my blood boil in annoyance.

"It's important" I stressed. Just then Makein came out of nowhere and started jumping up and down.

''really...oh really... Is this what you wanted to tell me too?... Come on.. Tell me '' Makein said acting like a baby. Our father shot her a look which made her quiet and she slowly backed away out of the room.

'' okay now you have my attention... So. Speak '' he said.

''there is a human girl in Andelina's part of the forest .... She can use magic... But... Let's just say that she was practicing magic where I had accidentally fallen asleep and well one thing lead to another and I may have bitten her.... '' I said not sure on what my father's expression would be.

''you said she uses magic.. '' he asked again to which I nodded in reply. ''and that you bit her... ''I nodded again at the question. '' then she belongs to you.. '' he said making me stare in horror. my intense confusion caught my father's attention so he elaborated further''Technically since you bit her.. Or whatever was the incident she belongs to you.. You should have her here as whatever you like'' he said as he disappeared into the darkness. I was there for a moment in silence.

''I hardly know the woman. Why would I have her here. '' I thought.
'' well I guess I'll go and observe them and see what should happen next....but first ''

''Father - I'm going down do you want me to take something? '' I asked following his faint sent into his room.

''oh yeah... Just take some gold coins and you know the usual and that would be enough '' he reply not bothering to come out of his room.

"typical " i said in a soft murmur and headed towards Makein's room . " makein i'm going down...would you like to join?"

"oh. what !now !? you have time to tell me what you were talking about right? if want me to come with you ?" she screamed from her room.

"i never said that just asked if you want to join.... nevermind forget i asked" i said turning back to go to the 'Gold Room '. the Gold Room was like a small safe but engulfed the whole room with gold coins, jewels and other things. This room was situated in the floor below but in a floor higher than the dungens.

Going down to that section; i bellowed at two gaurds to get me the things I needed and headed back towards the plateform. " get this moss off the stairs " i said as i nearly slipped on a step that was covered in moss.

" yes my lord" was the answer i recieved and i was happy about it .

" oh good your still here.... I'll go with you ... if it doesn't bother you '' Makein said running up to me and heading in the same direction.

"good ...then help me get those things " i said pointing at a pile of things we had to distribute. Makein although with her retaliating nature solemnly gave into the order.

"can we atleast get some medicine for you...that cut looks really bad" she said seeing the cut through my robe.

"yes...i guess we can " i said and walked with her into a chamber.
