He told me everything I needed to know about our journey. I just stood close and listened while I got lost in his eyes.
"Okay that's all you gotta know."
"Sounds good!" It honestly did.
He had a friend who did sanitation close by the place my sister was taken to. They called it the Unknown. Which made sense because literally anything about it was unknown. The named suited it well.
"Okay where the hell is it?"
"It's exactly 2.5 miles away from Area 51."
"For real?"
"Yes, for real."
"Oh. Well let's get going."I got up and motioned my head towards the stair case. In response, he got up as well. And then he just stood there, looking right into my eyes... and kissed me. I must have made a confused face after he pulled away because he told me he did that for good luck. And I thought to myself what luck I had that he actually might like me back.
