Ethan's POV:

I know that we hardly know each other but I can't help but feel something for this girl. She's so beautiful and she doesn't even realize. She's so damn smart it's scary. We've been talking for -what like- two weeks already and I just know that I like her. What's there not to like?

"Hey Eth, some girl is calling you," my brother, Grayson, said handing me my phone.
"Oh! Okay I'll be right back."

"Hello?" asked Ethan.
"Uh, hey," said the voice, he already knew who it was.
"You know, I've been waiting for you to call me."
"Oh really? And why is that?"
Crap. " Uhm, because I wanted to...take you out. Yup. That's what I wanted to do."
"Really?" you could hear her smile through the phone.
"Well..yeah. Is that okay?"
"Yeah, of course. So-when?"
"Tonight? I can pick you up around," he paused to look at his watch, "around 7. Sound good?"
"Yes, that sound awesome. Ok. See you later, Ethan."
"See ya." Pheww!! That was easier than expected.

When he turned, he saw Gray standing in the doorway.

"So..Ethan's got a girl. Tell me about her, bro."

Sarah's POV:

"So," my older sister,Vanessa, said, "tell me about the guy!"

"His name is Ethan. He's just so..different. Different from the other guys I was with before. I mean that's all in the past. I just wanna try again ya know? And I feel like Ethan is the one to start with."
"Well, I guess I'll have to meet this Ethan fella."
"You'll like him. Maybe not as much as I do," I said, laughing, " but I think mom would have approved."
My parents would have absolutely adored Ethan. Just knowing he makes me so happy would have them begging to meet him. I wish they could meet him.

Ethan's POV:
As I pulled up to Sarah's house, I couldn't help but feel so damn nervous. I mean we've to out to eat many places for lunch. But this was a date. A totally different ball game."

My breath hitched when I saw her walk out of her house. Even in the most casual clothes she's so beautiful. She was wearing light wash skinny jeans, an army green fleece, and some white high top vans. But something about her made her look like an angel and it made me grow more anxious with every step she took.

"Hey," she said hopping in the passenger seat
"Hi," I began, " you look great tonight. I mean you look great everyday. Beautiful, even. But today, just- wow. Yeah."
"Uhm, thanks," she said, like it was a question. Why do I have to be such a dork around her. I can't keep my cool.
"So where are we going?" She asked.
"It's a surprise. You'll like it, I promise."
I was taking her to the pier. I hope she likes if there.

author's note:

sorry if this is weird and I don't mean to sound confusing but in this story, Grayson is older. He's 20 and so is Vanessa, Sarah's sister. And Ethan and Sarah are only 18.
