~England's P.O.V~
"England, I'm leaving."
"WHAT?!"
I watched in awe as my little sister stared at me with a cold gaze in her forest green eyes.
"You heard, big bro. I'm leaving."
"B-but, Malta, dearest sister, are you sure you are ready to be on your own?"
Malta started pacing around the room and chewing her bottom lip.
"Yes, big bro. I have all I need. My land is full of rich soil so I won't run out of food. I have a strong navvy, you of all people should know-"
"Koncetta."

"Koncetta." I heard my brother choke out my human name. He only uses it when he's dead serious about anything. I stopped pacing with my back turned to him.
"Koncetta Malfiggiani," a sniffle came from where he sat behind me. I slowly turned around and saw the tears starting to form in his eyes. "I just want what's best for my little sister." The tears now started trickling down his cheeks.
"Oh, Arthur." I ran and hugged him tightly. "Arthur please don't cry. I still love you, I just, need to be on my own."
He hugged back tighter, crying softly into my hair. I was quite a bit shorter than him.
"Everything will be fine, I promise. If anyone tries to take over, I kick their ass."
I felt him smile and chuckle into my hair.
"That's my little sister."

I put the last few things into my bag. A photo of me and Arthur, a tiny UK flag, and a dress from the Victorian era that Arthur bought for me.
I sighed and zipped up my bags, and headed for the car where big bro was going to drive me home. I sighed as I thought about my house in my country. Since I had lived in big bro's house since I was young, my house has been abandoned for quite some time. Close to, 300 years, I think?
The drive there was long and tiring, but when we got there, it was a real sight for sore eyes.
The walls of my house were covered in ivy that had been growing there from lack of maintenance. The paint on the windows was starting to chip off as well. Some of the shutters were falling off too, and the roof was caving in a little. Arthur reassured me he would stay with me until my house was in condition for proper living.
I walked up the familiar stone steps feeling the draft wood banisters under my palms. A smile crept up on me as I eyed up and down my huge mahogany door. I looked behind me to see my brother unloading our suitcases from the car. He turned to me and gave me a small smile and a nod. I turned back to my door and pushed it open.
Now, of course my house was in shambles from being abandoned for so long, but I felt the sense of familiarity pull me in. This house, is where I belonged. I couldn't help but let out a laugh as I ran up my large staircase. I ran all over the upper floor not really knowing where I was going, but I trusted my feet to guide me.
I ran and ran until I came to a dead end. I stopped as I recognized the room. My smile grew bigger as I realized what room I came to. I felt the carved wood of the door under my hands before I pressed it open gently.
Low and behold, was my old art studio. The walls shined of the masterpieces I had once painted on them. I traced the cracks of the old paint with my finger tips. I then went through all my drawers and discovered all my art supplies intact. I smiled and ran around the room touching all my canvases and furniture before collapsing on my chair. I sat there and just breathed everything in and out. I then heard my brother call for me. I totally forgot! I just left my older brother alone with the baggage.
I quickly run back to the staircase and slide down the bannister to see Arthur waiting for me in my lobby. He noticed my huge smile and smiled in return.
"Is everything just as wonderful as you remember?" He asked grinning.
"Oh, Arthur, I love it here!" I replied and ran and hugged him as he spun me around in the air. I giggled as he set me down.
"Anything for my little sister."

Me and Arthur ate dinner that night in my shabby looking dinning room. I scarfed down my food like a wild wolf that hasn't eaten in days.
"I know it doesn't look like much now," I started. I chewed a little and swallowed my bite. "But once we've finished, it will look nice and proper for England's little sister."
Arthur poked at the meat on his plate. It must be too seasoned for him or something because he barely ate. He was also reading the daily paper for today.
"Malta, please don't speak with your mouth full, it's rude." He said without looking up from his paper.
I rolled my eyes at his words of brotherly wisdom and flung a vegetable at his head. I laughed as it hit him and he was so startled he dropped his paper and fork with a piece of meat on it.
"Holy Christ!" He shouted, clearly rattled with what I had just done.
"Bloody hell, Malta!" He fumed at me. I held back a laugh as he tried brushing the sauce out of his hair. I finally couldn't do it anymore and let a giggle slip past my lips, and then a chuckle, and then a roar of laughter. I couldn't hold back my large guffaw at his angry face while trying to wipe sauce from his hair. He noticed it wasn't working and joined me in laughter. We ate the rest of our dinner before I showed him to the guest room and I went to mine. Tomorrow we'll start on rebuilding my once glorious home.
I could barely sleep I was so excited.
~England's P.O.V~
I love my little sister so much. And she's grown up so nicely. Maybe she will be fine on her own and I'm just paranoid. I'm so worried about her.
