Coulson

He knew this wasn't random. His two brightest minds, taken in the matter of four days. Coincidences like this didn't happen, and he was going to get to the bottom of it.

The exhausted director walked through every corridor of his base, trying desperately to find any new lead on his young scientists and where they could be. Coulson knew that if he couldn't find them soon, they were probably dead.

The base itself was quiet today. Only one mission was active. His main team was searching diligently still, and Coulson appreciated that. He saw the tiredness in their eyes, the hunger. Bobbi was once caught sleeping over her computer, but denied it ever happened. The director decided to check on his young agents who were all in the lab.

As he was rounding the last left turn to get to the lab, someone rammed into him, making both parties stumble back.

"Sir! Oh, this is good. We found something." The voice was Daisy's, and it sounded frantic.

"What? What'd you find?" Daisy helped Coulson up and led him into the lab where her colleagues were.

Mack and Bobbi were hunched over a laptop looking at something while Hunter was sitting on a table, bouncing a rubber ball off the wall. May was looking at a different computer, looking determined. Beside her was Lincoln and Joey, the latter looking very confused.

Once at the lab, Daisy spoke again. "Mack, Bobbi, I got him" The two very tall agents turned around, locking eyes with their leader.

"Sir," Bobbi started, "I think Fitz left a clue."

"Well, show me. What is it?"

Bobbi motioned over to a work table with a small robot laying on it. It looked like...

"A dwarf? Did he leave a dwarf?" Coulson inspected the little thing.

"We believe so. It was just laying here, operating fully. I don't think it was an accident." The blonde now sat next to Hunter on the table, obviously exhausted.

"Are there any more? Can we track it?"

"That's what we've been trying to do sir, we think we're close though." Stated Mack confidently.

"Keep working. You've all done well." Coulson started to leave the lab, but Daisy started laughing.

Apparently she'd grabbed the laptop and starting working while everyone was talking.

"Got em." She turned the laptop around for the director to see. It had a map with a red dot right in the center. Coulson smiled for the first time in days at the news. His team peered at the computer with him.

"Fitz, you bloody genius." Hunter whispered, everyone else silently agreeing.

May walked to the door, then turned around. "Are we just gonna stand there, or are we gonna get back our friends?"

Coulson marched out first, the defiance painted all over his face. Hydra wouldn't get away with taking his valued teammates and friends. He was certain of it.

Sorry it's been so long! As I've said before, I have soccer from 3:30-5:00 everyday and then I have homework and everything else. Thanks for sticking with me.

Also, I was thinking of doing a chapter of facts about me, just to give some background. Or would it be better to stay mysterious? Any facts you'd wanna know?
