Wendy's POV
Wendy felt the scale. It was rough, but shined in the sunlight like emerald. She couldn't believe it. A dragon scale. She didn't know what to do. Then, she had an idea.

Wendy rushed back home with the dragon scale in hand. She ran into the house and called her grandma and grandpa. If there was something about dragons, they'd know. She told them what she found and they said they'd come as quickly as they could.

Borg POV
My mind swirled. How, how did my heart stone light? There couldn't be unless it was. But how? That couldn't have been. A human soul sharing one with a dragon.

But they had never done this. Why had she done this? But who held her heart stone now? I had to find out. I fingered my medallion as I sat at the table. My mind flooding with the thought of a love I had once shared.

I wanted to cry out, but didn't. Suddenly, my adoptive sister came into the kitchen. She made a L on her forehead and stuck her tongue out.

"Loser!" She said

I growled. I resisted breathing fire on her.

"What's your deal?" She asked

"Nothing you would understand." I said

"What? Girl problems." She teased

I scowled.

"No!" I snarled

Jessica shrugged and stalked out of the kitchen. I sighed. I had to find who held the heart stone of my past love. If I could, I would need answers to the questions now filling my head.
