Chapter 1

Aubrey's POV

"Aubrey we are leaving!! We will be back later tonight!" My dad yelled from down stairs.

"Ok bye, love you and have fun!" I yelled back.

This is my chance. I can find out who my mother is after 19 years of not knowing who she is, it's now or never.

I would always ask my dad about my mother but he would never tell me much about her. I honestly don't even know her name.

All I know about her is that when my parents got divorced when I was almost one and my dad fought until he got to keep me, and since my mom moved to a different state than us, she had no visiting rights or anything so I can not see her.

I'm not sure why my father tells me nothing about my mom but most of the time he's too busy working or going places with his girlfriend, who also lives here, Heather.

Since he and Heather are on a date tonight and they won't be back for a while, I'm going to go into his office where he keeps my files and find my birth certificate. It's time for me to find out who I really am.

As I walk downstairs to his office, all the sudden I feel really nervous. What if she doesn't want me? What if she's not alive anymore. I don't think I should do this.

No Aubrey stop you can't hold back any longer you've went 19 years without knowing who your mother is and I think it's about time you know the truth.

I look around in the desk and drawers for a good ten minutes, until I finally find a slip of paper that has my name on it.

I found exactly what I was looking for! Jackpot! I pulled it out and took a deep breath and looked at the bottom where it read, Aubrey Grace Harrison daughter of Elizabeth Floyd and Carter Harrison.

I decided to do some research on this Elizabeth Floyd woman. I looked around on the internet and found this one lady who caught my eyes.

She looked a lot like me.
She has a daughter that has blonde hair just like mine and Elizabeth pretty tan just like me. If this is the right lady than she is the mother of Nash and Hayes Grier, who would be my brothers. I decided to take a chance and go with it.

I Found the contact information for Elizabeth and e-mailed her and told her the whole story. I was at a loss of words and I knew that no matter what I had to find her I need to be with my mama after 19 long years without her. I just hope when I find her that she feels the same way about me.
