Chapter 8

Aubrey's POV

As I ran up stairs to get ready for my date with Cam I couldn't help to get supper excited. But seriously though Cameron could have any girl he wanted, so why would he even want me?

I opened up the closet where I had hung my clothes, and started searching for an outfit. Since it was a day in the middle of the day I decided to go with a casual but sorta fancy outfit.

I decided on a  white crop top, high waisted shorts, and a red floral cardigan and my white converse and I threw my hair into a messy bun.

As I was getting undressed I all the sudden hear someone walk in. Oh my gosh I forgot to lock the door!

"Oh my gosh Aubrey I'm so sorry" Cam said while turning around towards the door.

"Oh umm it's fine I should've locked the door." I said kinda embarrassed.

I soon finished dressing and Cam came back in the room and started getting ready.

He came out of the bathroom wearing a tight black shirt, jeans, and his white converse as well. As soon as  he looked down at my shoes he smiled and yelled

"Twins!!" And we both started laughing.

"Ok so are you ready to go hottie?"

"yes of course just let me go tell Elizabeth I'm leaving."

We walked downstairs to where Elizabeth was in her office working on something for work.

"Hey Cameron and I are going out for a little bit, we'll be back later!" I said

"I know I overheard Nash and Cam talking about it" Elizabeth said with a wink.
And with that me and Cam hard out the door.

"Nash is letting me borrow his car since you know I haven't got one  yet" Cam said as he opened the passenger door for me.

As we backed out of the driveway I couldn't help but wonder where we were going.

We drove all over the town Cam showing all kinds of places and pointing out his favorites. "One time Nash and I went a got ice cream there but we ended up getting kicked out because we stared making this crazy vine."
He said pointing over at a ice cream shop downtown and laughing.

After riding around a couple minutes with Cam holding my hand, we pulled into the parking lot of a huge park. The weather outside was perfect weather to be outside. It wasn't way too hot but it wasn't supper cold either.

As we got out of the Car Cameron grabbed a picnic basket and blanket form the trunk. As we walked hand in hand looking for the perfect spot we finally found it.

There was a huge tree in the park right beside the lake and right under it was the perfect spot for our picnic. Cam laid the blanket down and set everything out.

"I hope this is ok. I know it's not much but..."

"Cam this is absolutely perfect!" I Said as I wrapped my arms around him and kissed him on the check.

We sat down and enjoyed our picnic of Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches and for desert we had cheesecake. It was seriously perfect because those where both my favorites.

"That was so good Cam and those where both my absolute favorites!!" I said and he lightly chuckled

"Yeah I know Elizabeth kinda helped me with the food."

After we got done eating we packed up our picnic stuff and walked over to the swings and Cam pushed me.

"Woah Cam that's way to high" I said while laughing uncontrollably.
