Demi looked over at us and grew more anxious as no one said anything.
"I'm pregnant." I blurted after a long while.
"I'm sorry, what?" Demi croaked as she dropped her utensils on the table and looked over at us.
"I'm having a baby..." I said quietly. I already told my dad, I'm sure Demi can't possibly be worse. I looked over at Aiden who was looking at Demi awaiting her response. I quickly looked down at my empty dinner plate.
"I-is this a joke?!" Demi quickly replied.
"No." Aiden answered.
"Oh. my. god. you're pregnant." She muttered under her breath. Demi sighed as her head fell into her hands.
There was a long pause. I didn't know what to do. I looked over at Aiden who looked over at me.
"How?!" She finally shouted.
"I-i..." I tried to come up with an answer.
"I mean don't answer that, obviously I know how. How could you be so irresponsible?! What were you thinking? You're only 15!" Demi shouted all at once. She stopped and looked over at us. All the memories of when she was 14 came rushing back to her. She remembered how her mom reacted when she told her she was pregnant.
"We're really sorry we didn't tell you sooner, we just didn't know how. We understand if you're mad at us, or even hate us." I said quietly. Aiden nodded in agreement.
"I don't hate you guys." She sighed. Demi somewhat calmed down. "How many weeks are you Kaylee?" She asked and I shrugged my shoulders.
"So you're really not mad?" I asked.
"Look, even if I might be mad at you guys, in fact I am very mad, I don't want you to feel that I hate you. I'm glad you told me, although I wished you would have came to me sooner. I just don't want you guys feel that you're going to have to go through this alone." She replied. "It'll take me some time to get over it, but I'm here for whatever you may need."
--Few weeks later--
Olivia's POV
"Kat come on hurry up, we're going to be late for school." Demi said.
"Coming." She shouted.
I heard a knock on my door and my eyes slowly opened. "Olivia are you ready? We're leaving in 5." Demi said.
I rolled my eyes. "Ok." I responded.
Demi opened the door to see I was still in bed. "Liv get up! What's wrong?"
"Nothing. I'm just tired that's all." I said as I got out of bed and over to my closet pick out something to wear.
"If there's something wrong you, you'd tell me right?" She asked.
"Yeah, totally everything is fine. Just stayed up late studying for my finals coming up." I answered and changed the tone of my voice. I later added a chuckle to lighten the awkward mood.
"Maybe you should go to sleep earlier. I shouldn't be saying this, but maybe ease up on all that studying you do Liv." Demi laughed. "I don't know anyone more dedicated to school than you."
"Yeah, because everyone else doesn't seem to give a shit about school." I muttered to myself.
"What?" Demi asked.
