"Kuroo-San, may I ask what time are you guys supposed to meet?" I asked as nicely as I possibly could.

"After-school. That's why we're here now."He said in a nonchalant voice.

I felt the tapping of my fingers on the edge of the table go faster, feeling more irritated. "What I mean is the TIME."

"After-school does briefly indicate the time, no need to get all worked up about it. Sheesh..." He sighed before taking a sip from the black coffee.

He still had the mug in his hands and silently eyed my finger movements' tapping go faster and faster.

I felt his glance bore into mine, so I stopped and angrily looked up at him, "What?"

"Say...you've never had a boyfriend nor are comfortable around guys, right?" He asked with the usual sneer.

It was annoying, but what annoyed me the most was how sharp-minded he was. If I were a target and his words were an arrow, he just shot a bull's eye that made my cheek turn from white to red. "What?"

"Don't worry, there are two girls that are also coming, if that makes you feel any better."

I clicked my tongue in response. "Well, if you don't consider yourself as a guy, then I suppose what you say is 100% true."

"Oh, so you feel comfortable around me?" He smirked, while putting his cup down and comfortably rested his chin on the palm of his hand.

"You're by far the most annoying desk neighbour ever." I muttered under my breath, as I chewed onto the straw.

"Whatever you may say." He replied in a sing-like voice.

His ears perked at the sound of the bell chimed that signified people entering the cafe. I lazily looked at the door and spotted two girls and a guy all in their school uniform which I didn't recognise at all. Judging from the way all three pair of eyes stopped on us, they're the ones I'm facing today. Though, I couldn't help but wonder why I was called out when there's three people.

I eyed Kuroo-san from the corner of my eye, trying to unravel what's going on in those mind under that grassy head of his, before turning my attention to the anonymous three people again.

The guy had a lazy eye with messy raven coloured hair, but weren't as bad as Kuroo-san, while the girls were extremely pretty in their own way. One had straight reddish-brown hair with matching eye colour and displayed a 'one-of-a-kind smile.' Extremely pretty girl that looked calm, yet mysterious. The other one was slightly shorter than the first one, but had tan coloured hair tied in a ponytail with beautiful green-blueish eye colours and freckles spread around her cheeks. I'm a sucker for freckles, so I envy them a lot.

"Over here, over here." Kuroo-san waved at them, which I abruptly shoved his arms down out of embarrassment.

"What are you getting embarrassed about?" He asked in a disingenuous voice.

"No-nothing...you're disturbing other customers." I whispered harshly to him.

"I was just being considerate for our friends, in case they sat at other tables by mistake."

"Yes, yes, you were."

"What? I'm always considerate about other people."

"UGH, PLEASE." I raised my voice in disgust, with my neck forward in defeat.

"Hello, Kuroo-san." A husky voice interrupted our argument, which I flinched in response.

"Hey Akaashi. Thanks for coming." Kuroo-san responded amiably.
