Louriza POV
After sending Chloe off I decided to drive around. Nothing to do..I stop my car by the park. I lower down my window so that I can take fresh air. I close my eyes about to fall asleep, then my phone rang. It was Dale. I picked it up.
"yes Dale? what's up..?"
"are you free..? can we meet up..?"
"um, yeah..I'm free for now..where are you..?"
"at the bowling ring.."
"okay..see you there"
I look at my watch..it's 9am. Still early that's why I agreed on meeting Dale. Besides I want to apologize to him about the other day. I drove of to the bowling ring me and Dale usually hang out. I arrive there, Dale was waiting for me at the front door. I approach him and said
"hello Dale"
He replied
"hi..come let's go in"
He's being a gentleman and open the door for me. He ask me to take a seat while he go and rent bowling shoes for us. He came and said
"here is you bowling shoe Lou"
He pass me the shoe and I said
"aww, you remembered my size.."
He said
"well.."
We smile to each other. He said
"are you ready to lose..?"
I replied
"nope..today I'm gonna win..just wait and see"
He said
"wow..okay.."
After a few hours of bowling. I scored the most.
I shouted
"YES! I won!"
Dale sigh and said
"congrats"
I said
"thanks..your treat right..?"
He said
"yeah I know..loser needs to pay..come let's have a drink.."
While we were sitting, drinking and looking at other people games..I decided to ask Dale
"so Dale, did you manage to pay for the dress I told you to the other day..?"
He replied
"yes I did..unfortunately I used almost all the money that I have in my wallet. I don't have money to get home"
I was shocked and said
"did you walk home..?"
He replied
"pfft..what? no..it will take days if I were to walk home..luckily I still have some coins..I call my friend using the public phone..ask him to fetch me from the shopping mall"
I replied
"oh okay..actually, I want to apologize to you because I told you to pay for the dress..I really feel sorry for Chloe because I left her shopping by herself. You know right..Chloe is my best friend.."
He replied
"it's okay Lou..I understand"
Dale smile at me and said
"want to go for lunch..?"
I stop and think
"lunch..? wait..what time is it now?"
