Part 13

It's almost 4pm. I said

"okay Megan, I need to go home now..thanks for everything today"

She replied

"no problem Chloe..think about what I told you okay.."

Megan told me to think about if I want to join Megan everyday after school.

I replied

"yeah okay Megan, I'll think about it"

She replied

"come let me walk you to the door.."

I said

"see you tomorrow at school..bye!"

She replied

"see ya Chloe..goodbye"

I went home by bus..and reach around 4.45pm. Louriza isn't home yet, so I decided to take a shower and then do some assignment the teacher gave me at school today. While doing my work..suddenly realize I was singing..I don't usually do that, maybe because Megan told me earlier that I can sing pretty well so, I'm gonna start singing everyday & everytime I do my work, do the dishes, clean the house..etc. It's already 6.30pm but Louriza isn't home yet. She should be home by now. I was about to call her, but I saw lights coming through the window, that's Louriza car..she's home.

Louriza said

"hey..I'm home"

I replied

"hello..why are you late..?"

She replied

"sorry Chloe, I went to buy us dinner.."

I replied

"ooo..what did you buy..smells good.."

I was about to see what's in the plastic bag but Louriza said..

"hey hey..no touching.."

She continue

"let me take a shower first..then we can eat together.."

I replied

"okay then...."

While Louriza have her shower. I decided to play my record that Megan gave to me and on the radio. I press replay and set the volume. Done. I sit at the dinner table waiting for Louriza.

After almost half an hour, Louriza came down and said..

"ooo already sitting at the dinner table..? Can't wait to eat is it..?"

Louriza look at me and she chuckled.

I reply with a small giggle and said

"of course! who doesn't like to eat..? besides this food smell really good..what is it..?"

Louriza who just finished washing her hands approach the table and said

"it's..bread!"

I said

"what?! bread? seriously..??"

She replied

"nah, I'm just kidding"

She continue

"I bought steak, spaghetti and cheesecake"

I replied

"wow! no wonder it smell so good!"

She said

"let me get the plates and set it up"

Watching Louriza put the food on the plates I decided to ask her..

"is the music good..?"

She replied

"what music..?"

I said

"the music..playing on the radio.."

She go nearer to the radio to listen carefully then she said

"ooo this..yeah, sounds pretty good.."

I said

"good..? that's all..?"

She replied

"yes..why..?"

I said

"can't you recognise the voice..?"

I continue

"the voice of the girl singing..can't you recognise it..?"

Louriza look very busy, seems like she didn't hear anything I said just now..

I shouted

"Louriza! Did you hear what I said just now..?!"

Louriza who is holding the plate and putting it on the table replied

"what..? you said something..? sorry, I didn't heard what you say..can you repeat..?"

I said

"nevermind, let's just eat first.."

After dinner..I ask her again..

"Louriza..the song has been replaying all this time while we were having dinner..can't you recognise the voice..?"

She look at me with a surprised face and said

"wait..no...."

I look confused and I said

"what..?"

Louriza gets up from her seat and approach the radio..turn the volume up and said

"this voice..this voice is...."

I said

"yes Lou..? can you recognise it now...?"

She said

"of course! it's......
