The next day Criss waited for Cindy to talk about Angel. Criss's head was pounding he couldn't decide whether to adopt Angel or not. He had his brothers on board but the one person he wanted support from wasn't and that was his mother. Cindy saw Criss and sat down. "Hey Criss so what's the verdict you adopting Angel?". "I don't know I've got two people from my family on board but-". "If it's Costa I'll give him a swift kick in the ass" as Criss chuckled.
"It's my mother who isn't on board maybe she's right" Criss replied sitting back in his chair. "Christopher you have a connection with this child. When you left that day she started to crying so much they almost took her to the hospital for possible dehydration. Angel wants you to be her father". Criss's mind started to remember how Angel was with her and how holding her warmed his heart. "You know what let's go for it" Criss said smiling.
Cindy opened her case and took out the paperwork. As the adoption was going through Criss spent time with Angel even had her over for a sleepover but just incase something happened JD's wife, Lynn stayed with him. During the night Criss got woken up by Angel's crying. He got out of bed like a bullet and went into her room. He turned on the light and saw Angel diaper leaked. "Oh sweetie it's all right your diaper just leaked" picking her up. Criss took her to the bathroom and ran a small bath to wash her off.
Lynn woke up and went to the bathroom to find Criss bathing Angel who looked happy as Criss blew bubbles at her. After he washed her off Criss took her out and wrapped her in the towel. He brought her to a changing table he set up in the bathroom and put a new diaper on her than new jammies. "There you go nice and clean". "Dada" Angel said. "Did she just call you dada?" Lynn inquired as she said it again. "Yes I will be your dada" Criss replied wiping some tears from his face.
