Dave came in and sat down. "I still can't believe you're adopting this little girl considering how her biological parents treated her" as Angel tried to put a block in her mouth. "I think that's a little big to eat sweetie" taking it out of her mouth. "I have a connection to her the last time I felt this Johnny was born" Criss remarked with a sigh. "Did I hit a nerve". Criss got up and went to his desk he took out an envelope and showed it to Dave.
Dave opened it and it was a subpoena. "Shaunyl admitted the last time Johnny and her visited that she cheated on me so she doesn't know who Johnny's father is so she wants to do a parentity test, but-". "You can't handle the fact if Johnny's isn't yours". Criss turned his head to see Angel ready to climb up a book case.
Criss ran over and caught her before she got hurt. "You little monkey" Criss stated giving her a kiss on her head. "Well whatever you decide I know it will be the right one. You be good little girl" and left as Cindy walked over. "Sorry about this Criss". "It's all right" as he put Angel on the floor. "I talked to the judge and the social worker. If the judge agrees Angel could be yours by the end of the month" she remarked.
Tears started to fall down Criss's face as Cindy gave him a hug. "Come on sweet-where did she go". Criss looked under his desk than he noticed the door was open. "She's out on the magic floor!". Criss ran out and looked around but couldn't find her. "Angel this isn't funny come on sweetie time to come out". Criss heard crying so he went running towards it and saw someone about to run out the door with Angel in his hands as she started to cry. "Hey let her go!" Criss called out and started to run.
The man opened the door but Doug slammed the door in his face knocking him out. When he fell he let go of Angel but Criss caught her as Cindy came over. Angel hugged Criss tight not wanting to let go as Doug picked up the guy. "All right explain yourself why are trying to take this child" Cindy asked. "She doesn't deserve to be taking away from her parents" the guy replied. "Did her parents hire you from jail to kidnap Angel" Criss replied as sirens were heard. "That child will be back with her parents". The cops arrested the guy as Criss looked at Cindy.
