It's been a couple of weeks since Criss came home from the hospital and was relaxing at his house. Since Criss couldn't bent down to tie his shoes or put on a pair of pants without ripping his stitches his mother decided to stay and help which made Criss a little embarrassed. In his room Criss was putting on a shirt but when he saw his pants sitting on his bed he knew he had to call his mom for some help or end up back in the hospital.
"MOM" he called out.
His mother opened the door as Criss sat on his bed. "Need help with your pants". Criss nodded trying to shake this embarrassing feeling that he needed his mother's help to dress himself. She grabbed the jeans and put Criss's foot in each leg. "Now stand up and I'll pull them up". I hope to god they are not photographers around or drones with cameras to catch this Criss thought as he stood up slowly.
As she pulled up the pants Dimitra noticed the redness in Criss's face. "Oh Christopher don't be embarrassed I was dressing you when you were a baby". "I know it feel strange that a forty-eight year old man needs his mother's help to put on a pair of pants that's all" he replied. "Before you know it Christopher you'll be well enough to dress yourself"she replied.
That made Criss feel a little better as his mother kissed him. The phone rang and Dimitra got it. It was Cindy on the other line and she wanted to talk to Criss. Dimitra handed the phone to Criss and left the room. "Hey Cindy how's the adoption going?"he asked "Really good but I got a call today sending chills up my spine". "What?".
"The parents of Angel want to meet you before they sign their rights over" she asked. "Why?". "I don't know but Criss if you don't want to I can tell them you're still healing from that stabbing" she stated. "How is that case going?". "Well they found out that the guy is bi-polar and off his medication so he's in a mental health faculty until they can get him back on his medication" she replied. "So I got stabbed by a guy who was mentally unstable how nice" Criss replied sarcastly. "Just think about it Criss" and hung up.
