"Pretty Little Liars or Jane the Virgin?" Kylie asked, scrolling through Netflix on her laptop.

"Jane the Virgin," I immediately replied. As much as I love the craziness and drama of Pretty Little Liars, nothing can compare to Jane the Virgin.

She clicked on the show, and we settled back onto the hotel bed as it started to play. We were still on season one, since we had only discovered the show a little while ago.

Near the end of the episode, when Jane was standing alone with Rafael under the cherry blossom tree, we started screaming at the computer screen for them to just kiss already. (A/N: that's probably not exactly how the kiss happened, it's been a while since i saw that episode lol)

Right as they were leaning in, my phone vibrated.

"Oh my god," Kylie exclaimed as she paused the show. "You've got to be freaking kidding me."

I sighed and opened the text.

from: Walker

hey sky, wanna come hang out with me and some of the guys at the grove? they really want to meet you :)

"Tell whoever that is to screw off. They're ruining my ship."

I rolled my eyes. "It's Walker. He wants us to meet some of his teammates."

Her mood immediately brightened at the thought of meeting cute boys. "Well in that case..."

Laughing, I shook my head and stood up. "I figured that would change your mind. Now hurry up so we have time to hang out before the game." Walker wasn't playing that day, since he'd played the day before and won, and the only games going on that day were the elimination games for the teams that had lost. We were going to watched the Northwest-Great Lakes game, since Walker wanted to watch it and Kylie wanted to see the cute players on the Great Lakes team, especially some guy name Eli Burwash. I had no idea who that was, but she was practically obsessed with him. (A/N: it was really hard for me to write that bc who tf isn't obsessed with eli)

We both grabbed our phones and quickly went next door to tell my mom where we were going before going downstairs into the lobby and walking the block or so to the Grove.

Walker was waiting for us at the entrance, since we weren't players and didn't have passes to get in.

"Hey guys," he said, hugging me and waving to Kylie.

After greeting each other, Walker unlocked the entrance with his pass and held the door open for us as we walked inside. We were in the same room I'd been in the night before, but there was barely anyone here, except for a group of boys sitting on a large leather couch in the corner of the room. I figured it was so empty because everyone was watching the elimination games. (A/N: I know that's not what the Grove actually is like, but obviously I've never been there so I'm just using my imagination)

We followed him over to the couch, where the guys were sitting. Now that I was closer, I saw there were four boys sitting there. Two of them were wearing blue West shirts, and the other two had on Southwest ones.

"So you must be the famous Skylar," one of the West guys said. He was very tan, with brown eyes and a West hat covering his dark hair.

I nervously nodded, giving him a small smile. I really hoped I wasn't coming off as weird or rude - that was something that constantly happened as a result of my anxiety. People always assume I'm being stuck up or rude because I don't talk much, when really I'm just anxious and don't want to say the wrong thing.
