He laughed but deep inside i knew he's sad because he hugged me so tight.
"Bye", he waved his hand.
"I mean.. See you", he said smiling.
And i whispered to myself, "i'll miss you".
-5 January 2010-
"Yah, Juhyun-ah! Ireona! (wake up!)", i heard my friend yelling at my face to wake me up.
"Agh! Araseo (okay), eomma (mom)", i said teasing her.
"Get ready now, let's go to school!! First day at high school!", my friend said full of joy.
"You seem so excited, Mina-yah"
"Ofcourse, i got excited even more because you and i are in the same school!", Mina said while getting ready.
"Go wash yourself, you stink!", she yelled.
I got up from my bed and yawned.

"Yah! (Hey!) Tie your shoelaces properly!"
"Agh! Jansuri geumanhae! (Stop nagging!)", i said then i bowed down to tie my shoelaces.
"It's for your own good", Mina said.
"By the way, i can't stay at your house for a long time", i said.
"Why? Oh! You should go home too, your mom must be so worried"
"No, she never worries about me, not even once. And she's not my mom, okay"
"Here you go again.. I know you're having a hard time with your parents. And you're their only child, you must be lonely. But remember that they are still your parents"
"Parents? They don't even care about me, or love me. They always fight over useless things. They never pay attention when i talk or need something. I just hate them", i said with teary eyes.
"Hey.. But you still have to go-"
"Home?", i cut her sentence.
"It's a house, not home. I don't have home, okay? Don't ruin my mood this morning"
"Alright, alright", Mina said while patting my back.
And after a while, we finally arrived at our new highschool.
Mina and me are bestfriends since 2nd grade in middle school. And she always helps me and comforts me. Whenever my dad and mom fight, i always run to her house and stay there for a while. She's such a great friend. But sometimes she's annoying too. Well, no friends are perfect.. Sometimes they must be annoying but comforting as well.
"Juhyun-ah!"
"Huh?", i responded.
"What's in your mind.. I've been talking to you for twelve hours, i can see the sunset there", Mina said sarcasticly.
I giggled, "so what do you want to say?".
"We're in class 1-1", she said.
"Just that?!! Aishh"
She laughed then pulled me with her to go to our class.
We walked together while holding hands.
"Yah, since we're now in high school, we can start our love story", she said breaking the silence.
"What? Love story?", i cringed.
"Yup! Maybe i can love someone at first sight! Just like scenes in korean dramas~", she said dramaticly.
"Love.. At first sight?! Pfft!"
"What? Don't look down at love"
"Love? I don't believe in love. Is it a joke? Bullshit? Or-"
"You don't believe in love? Why?", Mina cut my sentence.
"Well, i've never seen one before, just look at my parents! Look at everybody around us! So hateful", i said.
"But i love youuuuuuu", she said and tried to kiss me but i pushed her.
I laughed along with her and i accidentally bumped into someone.
"Joesonghabnida.. (i'm sorry)", i bowed.
When i looked up, i saw a tall guy with beautiful eyes.
"It's okay", he smiled and walked away.
I suddenly crossed my finger and my face felt like burning.
Wait.. WAIT A MINUTE.. Why do i feel weird?! What's this???
My body became warm and my heart was beating fast like a marathon.
I crossed my fingers because i was nervous, that's my habit. But i didn't know why i'm nervous! He's just a handsome guy with beautiful eyes and smile! There are thousands of handsome guys out there and i've never felt anything weird before. But this guy..
"Juhyun-ah! Concentrate!", Mina snapped her fingers infront of my face.
"Huh?"
"What's wrong with you.."
"Nothing", i answered.
"Are you nervous? You usually crossed your fingers whenever you feel nervous", she said after saw my fingers.
"Wait, are you sick?!", she asked again with a worried face.
"What are you talking about?"
"Your cheeks are really red..", she said while putting her hand on my forehead.
"R-really?", i stuttered.
"Are you sure you're fine?", she asked still worried.
"I'm totally fine", i answered.
