The Decision

I take the note from the bottom of the empty box and unfold it so that I can read what may be written, on this note. As I begin to read it I notice that the sun is hovering slightly over the horizon, I go back to read the note and the ink may be a little smudged but readable and the note said,"I know that you know that we both have a life of horror and our parents would separate us if we ever thought of leaving but I think we should takes more risks. So what do you say? Wanna go on an ADVENTURE? If you want to meet me at my car at 9:00, and bring whatever junk food you can please!!

I check the time on my phone, 8:47, I grab a bag and shove a couple pairs of clothes my phone charger and all the junk food out of the kitchen I can that will fit into my bag. I walk out the front door without my parents hearing me thankfully and run over to Haeley's house. "Pssst!" I hear from Haeley's window I commando roll over and jump through. "Got everything?" She ask, I nod and she grabs her keys and we both jump out her window and commando roll to her car. I stand nearly falling to the ground and she grabs my hand and scurries to her car, the key jingling in her opposite hand, " Where are we going?" I whisper as she stops and smiles her mischievious smile,
" Away. And if there is a problem about that well too bad because your life is about to experience some ADVENTURE!" Is all she replies. I hop in her car but as soon as she starts the car her mother walks out the door and says,"Where are you going Haeley?" Haeley answer with a stutter and I can see she is nervous as she begins to chew on the inside of her cheek. "Ahhhh, I'm going to get some, umm, hair die!" Her mother gives her a reasuring look, "Well hurry up then!" Her mother walks back inside and slams the door. We both let out a sigh.

"I think we better get going." She says, I just nod agreeing. A few minutes pass as we drive out of Jaspervile in silence. "So Hae, any idea of where we may be going?" I ask as I watch her steer the car with precision and she answers, "We shall see where the road takes us, shall we?" I just nod and laugh to myself.
