He slowly brushed a strand of lilac hair behind her ear and smiled. "Ne... Hime-Sama?" He teased the purplette princess of the Hiragii family. "We haven't spoke for... Ages." He emphasized on the word ages. "I've been... So focused on Mika's and the others' well being, I forgot about yours." At this point, the black, silky haired boy, had shut his eyes, not allowing her to see his blunt emerald orbs. "Forgive me?" A silence filled the room as a soft breath whizzed by his arm, rising his goosebumps, and making his shiver, but at the same time, making him warm and tingly inside. "Heh, I'm talking to myself, how stupid." He shoved his head back onto the pillow sighing heavily, before he felt a soft hand cup his cheek, he looked to her and saw her with a soft, sweet smile, which he expected to be a teasing one. "Go ahead, do it, say I'm 'soft and caring' inside, I don't mind." He shook his head and shut his eyes before he was slapped by the so-called soft hand.
"Baka Yuu." Her voice was... Not croaky, not smooth, not sweet, but... Aggressively nice?
"Ohayo." She whispered while snuggling to his hand, but this time, she realized, that they were no more than friends, comrades, family. "Oh dear, I guess my nightmares got so scary I had to hug you as a last resort." She teased the emerald eyed sword wielder but only got an eye-roll as a response. "...or maybe my only resort." That last part was... Less than a whisper, less than a murmur, and was so light, Yuichiro had shivered.
"Yuu-chan, can w-" Mika stood dead in his tracks with a huge smile across his face when he noticed the two laying next to each other.

"Micchan~ Shinoa stole Yuu from you and I!" He moaned as he ran towards the blondes room.
