Family Time

Akane skipped up to Yu's bed, and planted a kiss on his forehead, making him groan in frustration.

"I don't wanna wake up...."
He moaned, clearly frustrated that he had today to get married to someone.
And that someone might not be Shinoa.

"Yuu-chan, come on, your beloved sister will make sure you get the girl of your dreams!"
She pouted, shaking him violently, until he sat up.

"Where's Shinoa? She said she'd wake me up."
Yu pouted back, looking at Akane with an annoyed expression on his face.

"She's not feeling so well, but she asked me to give you this."
Akane held out a piece of paper, curious to what was inside of it.

Yu snatched the paper and looked at the contents.
A letter.
Yu,
You better have gotten me some medicine with that ring. And while you're at it, a several layered jacket is also appreciated.

Yu giggled softly as he folded up the paper, and kissed Akanes cheek, making her squeal and blush.
"Don't make moves so sudden Nii-san!"
She shouted, exasperated.

"Well, it's alright, I have the best wedding ring for her. Something she'll appreciate forever."
Yu stood up, and walked towards his dressing table, which had a green box inside of it, he picked it up, and on his way to the bathroom, he got himself a tuxedo too.

"Yu! Please be quick, it's already 11AM!"
She shouted, making Yu twitch in fear.

A few hours later, in the grand ballroom...

"Yu, have you gotten a girl?"
Kimizuki shoved a hair through his hair, as Yu sat, chin on his knuckles, not amused by the scene of thousands of soldiers, saluting him.

"Yeah. I'm waiting for her. And she's nowhere to be found."
Yu said, bored of the current situation.

"Who is it Yu-kun?"
A cutely dressed Yoichi, murmured whilst smiling childishly.

"You'll see."
He gave another one of his trade mark smirks, puzzling Yoichi.

After a few minutes, a purple haired girl, in a long pearl-white dress, walked into the ballroom, grabbing the eyes of all, except for one, her fiancé.

"Baka Yu!"
Shinoa shouted, making Yu turn around, lighting up his face like it was Christmas Eve.

"You look amazing."
He walked up to her and kissed her forehead, making her blush.

"I know I do, Baka."
She blushed furiously, not being able to sustain all the praise she was getting.

"Well. I'd like to take you up the stage, and give a speech, is it alright?"
Yu looked her down to up, then up to down, eyeballing her every move.

"Hey. I'm alone here. Just me and you. Cut the act. Im not being followed."
She looked around, peeking for any stalkers.
"Atleast I think so."
She signaled him to go up the stage, and so he did.

"Ladies and Gentlemen. As you all know, I, Yuichiro Hyakuya. Must 'propose' to my bride today. The wedding will take place 12 hours from now. Now you all may be thinking. Where's that blonde chick? Well I've changed my mind about her, and I've hand-picked someone. Isn't that right Shinoa?"
He handed over the burden to Shinoa, at first she panicked, but eventually sighed.

"Yes m'lord."
She bowed.

"Well, I'll have to kneel even lower. Your height is hard enough, you know?"
He dropped to one knee, and smirked, looking at the shut eyes of the respectful Shinoa.
"Psst. Can you open your eyes? I'm going to kill myself if you don't look at me."
He whispered, almost inaudible.

"Alright..."
She opened her eyes, and saw the ring, it was a mixture of Purple and Green, as if there was no gem, but a liquid inside. It had a shimmering color, making it look like a galaxy, and as the colors conjoined, they made a noticeable 'S'.

"Will you marry me?"
Yu clenched the box, ever so harder, and almost popped it, before Shinoa held out her hand elegantly.

"Yes."
Her bangs covered her eyes, but judging by her tone, she was definitely crying. Not her fake cries. This one was real, emotional and tear-jerking.

Yu, pulled out the ring, and slowly pushed it into Shinoa's ring finger, making her cover her mouth with her free hand.

"I love you."
Yu smiled as he stood up, dusting his knees, before looking down upon the figure of Shinoa.

"I love you too."
She tip-toed to kiss him, brief yet passionate, making him explode in a red color.

A huge round of applause was to come.
Well. Was. Mika clapped, and surprisingly he was happy, as if he was a father. Akane was crying, seeing her elder brother getting married was too much.
Narumi, smiled. Just smiled.
Yoichi, Mitsuba, and Shiho, well. They're jaws were on the ground, and they couldn't even be bothered to laugh.

"Well. In exactly 12 hours. You will attend the wedding of Yu-sama, and Shinoa-san! If anything is spoiled, public execu-"
Narumi was cut off by Yu, who stopped him and shook his head.

"If you'd like to attend our wedding, please do, if not, so be it."
Yu dismissed the large crowd, and walked up to Shinoa, who was in a world of her own.

"He's only mine... Mine..."
She couldn't stop the tears of joy from falling, she was so proud of herself, after all they'd been through? Wow.

"Yep. Only yours indeed."
He hugged her from behind and rested his chin on her head, making her smile.

"I love you"
They said in unison.
