Calm Afternoon

A loud bang was the start to the awkward lunch, Yu was sitting alone, eating as fast as he could, trying to leave her sights as fast as humanly possible.

"Calm down pig-kun"
Mitsuba put on a smirk and toyed with the mad Yu, but to no extent it hadn't worked.

"Shut up, golden haired wannabe soldier."
His voice was calm, cold, and expressionless, he didn't want to deal with anything, not right now atleast.

"Yu-chan, I have some news."
Mika stood up and tugged on his shirt, Yu instantly grabbed his forearm and twisted it, making him cringe in pain.
"Akane-chan won't appreciate her elder brothers fighting..."
As soon as Yu heard the name 'Akane' he stood up and pulled Mika to the side.

"Where is she?"
His voice was fiendish, and could pierce through the bravery of a veteran soldier.

"Right here!"
A chestnut eyed, chocolate haired girl, walked into the room, with a huge smile across her face, and a little vampire next to her.

"Why did I agree to this?"
Krul Tepes. The vampire queen, prior to the airport incident of course; mumbled as she narrowed her eyes.

"So that's where Krul-san went..."
Shinoa had a confused look across her face, and looked at the brown haired girl, even more confused.
"Who's this Yu... San?"

"My girlfriend."
"His girlfriend."
"Yu's girlfriend."
"From the past of course."
Each of them took turns in explaining, except their last words, which were in perfect unison.

"I came back after being dead for so long, and your first words to your sweetheart were 'my girlfriend'?"
She put a frown across her face, but long before she could do much, she was pulled into an embrace by Yu.

"I'm sorry. Sorry. So so sorry."
And so the tears began to cascade down his cheeks, onto her shoulders, making her shiver lightly, making Mika smile goofily.

"At least we never broke up! Haha."
She pulled away and kissed his cheek, smiling and giving him a wink.

"Krul, how did you turn her to our age?"
Mika raised an eyebrow at Krul Tepes, confused as to how she did it.

"Well I'm the vampire queen for a reason; so I'm not telling you."
Her answer was replied to by a shrug from Mika, who looked back to Yu and Akane, remembering the old days.

"Wait, you dated Akane?"
Mika frowned lightly and crossed his arms.

"It was a secret."
Yu and Akane said in unison.

"But Baka Yuu-kun couldn't keep his cheeks white around me, especially when we were around others."
Akane smiled at Yu, but stopped and leaned against him.

"Yo, A-chan, we can catch up later, I'll take you to my room."
He held her bridal style and walked slowly with her, taking her into the corridor and to his room.

"Tsk."
Shinoa was pissed, her expression said it all, she had a bad feeling about this 'sweetheart'; she seemed like a dimwit to Shinoa.

"Maybe you shouldn't have put yourself before Yu."
Mika tapped her back and walked to his room.

Meanwhile in Yu's room, Akane was soundly sleeping on the king sized bed, which was pretty comfy for a bed in these days.
"You've not changed in the slightest, always caring so much, smiling when you shouldn't, enjoying life to the fullest."
He shed a tear and kissed her forehead.
"Even when you died."
Yu was laid down beside her, as she clung onto his chest, probably for support.

"Sweethearts huh?"
Yuu looked up with a smile on his face, but that 'smile' was quick to fade into a disgusted look as he noticed a certain lilac haired heart breaker.

"Yeah. Something you had an issue with, because of other people's opinions."
He looked at his 'sweet heart' and smiled.
"You never were forced to do this, stop being what you aren't."
He tried to reason with the girl, but was given a shake of the head.

"You're one to talk Yu."
Shinoa raised her brows as her tone changed, to a pure hateful one.
"You're less human than anyone of us, even my sister."
She gave him a smirk, but was interrupted by a sweet voice.

"What does she mean Yuu?"
...Akane. Shit.
