Avery's point of view.

I woke up feeling refreshed for the first time in my life.
I could feel someone's presence in the room, but I didn't know who.

Opening my eyes, I stared at Chris who was smiling cheesily my way.

I closed my eyes, letting out a groan.
"You know instead of being a creep and watch me while I'm sleeping, you could've knocked on the door or something!" I said annoyed at him.

He chuckled softly and takes a few steps towards me,
"Well I thought I could congratulate you for being Dylan's mate? I mean you're practically now my Luna" Chris asked with his eyebrows raised.

"I don't need you to congratulate me, so can you please now go out of the room so that I could sleep?" I said before burrowing my head into the pillow and closing my eyes.

"No I can't do that, because the Alpha told me to get you to his office cause he wants to talk with you." Chris said with a smirk.

"And what does Tom want to talk to me about? We have finished talking, so go tell your Alpha that." I reply with a smirk of my own.

"Alpha Tom didn't call you, Dylan did. He's technically alpha, so we call him Alpha." Chris said With a smug look on his face.

"Well you can tell Dylan that I'm not coming. I'm only staying for a few weeks, Then I will be gone and he'll never see me again." I said and closed me eyes.

"I'm sorry but Dylan won't take No as an answer. He will come down here personally and get you, And trust me you don't want that to happen." Chris said seriously.

"Oh really?, OK go and get him, let him come here. We'll have a little chat here, If that's all then you can go and call your Alpha, you can sit and watch as your as your Alpha gets angry if you want to" I said and smirked at him.

"No,Thanks I think I'll pass, I'll go and tell him what you've told me." Chris said, nervously and walked quickly out of the room.

I chuckled and got up to take a shower and get dressed. When I'm done with that I hear a knock on the door.

"Come in" I yelled, I turned around to stare at my mate, I watched as He moved his hand through his chocolate brown hair.

"Why the hell didn't you come to my office when Chris told you that I wanted to talk to you" He gritted out through his teeth.

"Well I'm not to be summoned for. If you want to talk to me come then you gotta come and get me, Don't get one of your pack members to do your stuff for you." I said calmly despite the anger that was building inside of me.

"You will not disrespect me or any of my pack, I will not allow it." He hissed out.

"You are not my alpha, and they are not my pack. That means that I will do as I please." I spat at him starting to lose patience.

"How dare you treat me like that, You will treat me and my pack with respect." He said, glaring intimately at me.

"Respect is earned not given." I spat at him and turned me back on him.
I brushed my shoulder past his, ignoring the sparks and walked to the kitchen to get breakfast. I walked into the kitchen to see Alex making breakfast.
