Later, in the park, many kids are crowding the playground, animating it with their laughs and squeals.
Two despicable eyes are observing them from behind a bush. "Look how they're happily playing!" Brixi says with rancor. "Humans can't feel anything that can threaten them!"
"Come on Brixi, they're still kids! Their job is to play!" Sebastian says while he plays, rolling on the ground.
"We're kids, too, but it doesn't mean we ignore the danger!" he replies, really annoyed by the observation of the blue cat.
"You're too nervous, and the hatred you feel for humans is too exaggerated! We're stray cats since we've been born, it's obvious that we feel the danger that they don't!"
"KITTIE CATS!!" Mimi shouts, popping out of a bush.
"MIMI! Don't you know the meaning of the word "discretion"? You're in the company of an alien cat! You shouldn't attract attention!!" Brixi immediately scolds.
"No problem!" the red-cream cat replies, stopping in front of them in sheer excitement "We found a way to make Shangelina not too showy! Pay attention!" so she turns at the bush as to introduce something.
Michelle comes out of the bush with a very worried expression "Hi, guys..." she says, clearly embarrassed.
Shangelina pops out, too, wearing a brown paper bag with two holes, over her head. She sits next to Michelle staring with a very disquieting look.
The two kitties are not able to utter a word. Finally, Shangelina shakes the bag away with a rapid movement of the head, as she doesn't really understand its utility. "No, Shangelina!" Mimi insists. "If you take it off, people will recognize you!"
Brixi sighs, giving up.
After the situation has settled, Mimi explains that they found a safe place to stay "It's an abandoned warehouse near the harbor!"
"Great! Take us there, so we can check it out!" Brixi enthusiastically proposes, but Michelle asks them to slow down. "I think that Shangelina is too tired; after all, it's been more than one day that she hasn't eaten!"
"Yes, I think that, though she doesn't eat like us, she gets energy in other ways, maybe from the air she breathes or something, but we must find out before she runs out of energy!" Sebastian sentences, worried.
"Alright. But we need to reach the warehouse tonight, it's too dangerous to remain here. We now can all rest, and tonight we'll move without attracting attention, ok?"
The cats agree.
