Next day, a peaceful sea waves at the morning, the kitties are already awake.
"Brixi hasn't returned tonight! It's all my fault! I shouldn't have gotten mad, yesterday!" Michelle complains.
"Don't worry, everything's fine! He just needs to chill out and he'll come back!" Sebastian reassures her.
"Guys! Brixi's fine! Look what he left us for breakfast" Mimi runs to them holding the bit of chicken.
"Wow" What a lucky catch!" the cats exclaim with happiness, while Shangelina suspiciously looks at the weird piece of meat. "You see? He's not mad at us, after all!" the clumsy cat giggles "Yeah but where's he, now?" Michelle asks, worried "I've got an idea!" Sebastian concludes "Let's eat and then we'll go look for him all together!"
Meanwhile, Brixi is stationed on top of the wall that, every morning, witnesses the absurd conversations among Rob and Jack. And, like every morning, punctually Jack runs towards an annoyed Rob, who, for the umpteenth time, had failed his attempt to avoid him.
"Hey Rob! Wait for me! I was hidden behind the bonsais while pruning them and, fortunately, I saw you passing by!" the man begins. "You know, the bonsai needs little scissors to be pruned, otherwise you risk to cutting all the plant out!"
Brixi follows them walking on top of the wall, taking a big sigh of impatience. "...and that would be a problem because you'd get a little branch of tree that you can't present as a bunch of flowers, it'd be totally useless! But - hey! - I may start a new trend: 'Say it with a branch!' I think that people would love it!"
Rob makes a deep sigh of resignation. "But I should start thinking about 'what means what'! For example an orange bonsai branch could mean prosperity... and a Chinese bonsai branch could mean "I wanna travel with you! Maybe to China"! Don't you think it's a good idea? Sometimes I wonder how such an idea pops in our minds! I mean, you're thinking to something and a second later... POOF! Here's the idea that will probably change your lives forever! Did you ever think about it? I am sure of a thing, at last: when you least expect it, the thing that will change your life will fall over you!"
Brixi jumps on the vacuum. He tightens his eyes as he doesn't know what is going to happen next, as he doesn't want to think too much of what he's actually doing. He's just falling down brought on a mysterious sense of desperation he never felt before. Where are his actions going to bring him?
A moment later he lands on Rob's head, who gets upset for the unexpected gift from the sky. "What..." he yells, trying to get the weight off of his head. Fortunately the cap he was wearing protected him from the cat's claws.
"..is this!" he finally pulls the kitty off, along with his cap, and puts them in front of him to inspect what he's got in his hands. "Whoa!" Jack exclaims looking at the grumpy expression of Brixi staring at them, with the hat hanging from one of his claws.
"Is this your cat?" he asks. "Well..." Rob tries to answer but his friend prevents him from talking.
"He must be really attached to you if he followed you till here!"
"Actually..."
"You know, cats usually don't get attached to their owner, but I guess that you love your cat so much, that he didn't want to stay alone at home without you. Well...I also guess that technically he wasn't alone at home: your wife is still there, but maybe she leaves in the late morning, who knows, after all, you never introduced me to your wife.. I don't even know her name..."
"STOP IT!" Rob shouts.
"Weird!!" Jack instinctively replies, leaving both speechless for a moment.
"Listen, this is not my cat! It's just a stray kitty whom I gave some leftovers last night!"
"Oh well! It seems that he really appreciated it! Hey! I've got an idea! You can keep it as a mascot of your team!"
"Wha?? Are you kidding? I can't keep this cat with me!!" Rob bursts out, really worried about a so high responsibility.
"But now he needs a master! You can't abandon him!" Jack suggests with a wise attitude.
"So, you'll keep him!!" Rob quickly extends his arms to give the cat to his friend.
"Well..." Jack ponders the possibility of keeping the little ball of fur that his friend is showing him.
Brixi gets upset recalling how talkative that human is, and considers Rob as a better choice. He rebels at the grip and, moving like a crazy eel, wiggles out of Rob's hands jumping again over his head, with the intention of not climbing down anymore.
"Ehe! It seems that the cat doesn't want to leave you!" Jack looks at the scene, amused.
"Yeah! It seems that I have this effect on everyone!!" Rob angry replies, while trying to get the cat out of his hair.
