You wake up bright and early the morning of your big day. Today was your day, and no one was taking that away from you. You hop in the shower smiling because you know today is your day to shine. You get out quickly and put on your cutest outfit. You stand back, look at yourself in the mirror and decide you don't look half bad. On your way down the stairs you smell your favorite scent- bacon and waffles.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETIE!" Are the first words you hear as you step into the kitchen. You can't help but smile with delight as you look around to see decorations and banners and most importantly, your presents sitting on the table.
"Thank you!!" You yell back to your parents, and two brothers as you take a seat at the table.
"The bacon and waffles taste amazing" you say as you are eating.
Your little brother, James, walks over and hands you a present to open.
You rip off the wrapping paper as quick as you can to discover that it is a Justin Bieber singing toothbrush.
You laugh and say "awhh thank you James you're so sweet!"
You finish opening your presents, but are upset to realize the one thing you wanted, you didn't get.
"What's wrong sweetie?" says your dad.
"Oh I mean, nothing really, I just didn't get ya know...my tickets..."
"Your tickets?" Your dad says.
"Yeah you know, my Justin Bieber tickets" you reply.
Your mom walks over and places a hand on your shoulder, "darling, you know that we can't afford those right now, I'm so sorry"
"I know, it's okay, I just love him so much, whatever it's fine"
