I was sitting on he couch with my knees up to my chest like a child. Caspar was standing at the door behind me talking to one out of the three cops hat invaded my apartment my apartment. I turned back to looked at them and Caspar gave me a small nod. I turned back around and let them talk.
I sat there and stared at the blank TV. My mind swirled making it hard to stick to just one thing. But i knew for sure now that i wasn't crazy, someone was breaking into my apartment. They were taking my things. For all i know that could have been watching me sleep, or could have even raped me if i hadn't found out sooner.
Just the thought made me sick to my stomach. I just couldn't help myself any longer. I started to cry like a baby again. I rested my forehead on my knees and let the warm tears fall, letting out a few whimper. It wasn't soon before i felt a large pair of arms wrap around me. "Shh" Caspar let out softly rubbing my back.
I straighted out my legs and wrapped my arms around Caspar's neck. "It's going to be ok Nora" he said trying to clam me down. Then he pressed his soft lips to my forehead and i became less tense. I heard the sound of foot steps get closer "Um we have enough for now" the cop said. "We'll review the tapes and see what we come up with" "Thank you" Caspar said and the foot steps went away.
Soon i heard more foot steps then the slam of the door making me jump. "It's ok Nora i'm here" he said pulling me closer. "Do you want me to stay here with you?" i shook my head like a child "I don't want to stay here" i said softly. He moved one of his arms and placed it under my keens, cradling me.
He stood and taking me in his arms with me. He carried me like i was a feather as he walked to the door. He bent down to open it and and walked out "Make sure you close it" i muttered and he did. He carried me down to the lobby and into the parking lot. I was so scared i buried my face in his neck, shielding my self from the dark.
He placed me in the passenger seat and kissed my lips before shutting the door. He jogged around to his side and got in. He stared the engine and pulled out of the parking lot. My body was finally able to relax "Thank you Caspar" i said placing my hand in my lap.
"Nora I love you, i would do anything to make sure you were safe." He said then reached over and laced our hands. I nodded "I love you too" i said and rubbed my thumb along his hand. We drove a path that seemed familiar but my mind was still a mess.
The city lights faded as we drove further away. Soon building turned to trees, and pavement to a dirt path. We pulled up to a cliff that had a beautiful view of the night sky. Then it hit me, this is where Caspar took me to see my star. I looked at him and he smiled at me putting the car in park.
He let go of my hand and got out of the car. He picked me up and placed me on the hood then he crawled on it himself. I rested on my side and he did the same and we looked at each other. He wrapped his hand around my waist and pulled me into his chest.
It was quite for a while and it was nice, but i needed to talk to him. "Caspar" i said and he squeezed me "I thought it was you i..i" i couldn't even stitch together a sentence. "It's fine. Your fine. We're fine" he said i nodded.
"Look at you'r star" he said and i looked up at the sky. My star was the brightest in the night sky. "Still there, just like you" he said and oddly enough it made me feel better. "I love you so much" i whispered "I love you too" he said and kissed my forehead.
We watched the sky all night not even talking. I would cough some times and Caspar would hold me so tight i thought he would kill me before cancer. But it was fine because we were just happy to with each other in that moment. I looked at my star giving me the reassurance i need to i know i was still here, and everything was going to be ok, or so i hoped.
I guess i fell asleep because when i woke up i was in an unknown place, in an unknown bed. My head was rested on Caspar's bare chest and his arm were protectively around me. "Caspar" i said and his eyes fluttered open. "Where am i?" i asked and he laughed "My flat" he said in a very sexy morning voice.
I rolled off of him and looked around. "Did i ever tell you you're cute in the morning?" he asked and i laughed. "Have i told you you'r morning voice is sexy?" he laughed "No but thank you" he said sitting up and pecking my lips. "Thank you for saving me" i said and he laughed "Any thing for you Nora".
