I was sitting on the couch just watching tv, and August was sitting next to me on the laptop."find anything yet?" i asked.
he scratched his head, "noo"
I looked away, "remember when we were at your baby mothers house and you pulled me aside and brought up my miscarriage?" I asked.
he stopped doing what he was doing and looked at me, he nodded "yeah"
"why did you leave me?" I asked.
"Nicki, I was stupid back then." he said leaning back.
I shook my head, "you left me to deal with something we created, for 5 years."
he licked his lips, "I'm sorry, I was so hurt because I didn't know so I just didn't know how to approach you after every thing but that was the past baby."
tears began rushing down my cheeks and August got up and started comforting me.
"that's not me nomore baby, I don't want to lose you man." he said holding me.
I wiped my tears, "why did you bring it up?"
he backed up, and I looked at him.
"why did you bring it up?" I questioned.
he looked away, "I mean, we are getting married and moving into a bigger place... shit I want kids with you."
I smirked, "not right now."
he yawned, "and why not?"
I shrugged, "I'm not ready, we can try when I'm ready."
he nodded, "gotcha."
he got up and went into the kitchen.
"babe!" I yelled.
"yo?"
"nothing, never mind." I said grabbing the remote and turning the channel.
August,
I was looking through the fridge for something that I had a taste for.
we had hella food, but I just didn't want to eat anything in here.
I felt like I wanted some chick fil a or something.
I closed the fridge and looked over the island and saw my beautiful fiancé watching tv.
I caught myself staring, "bae." I called out.
she looked at me, "yess August?"
"you want anything to eat, I'm gonna go out." I said grabbing my keys off the counter.
she nodded, "hell yeah I want a double cheese burger with heavy pickles and lettuce hold the tomatoes and some cheese fries and probably a vanilla shake."
I rolled my eyes, " I wasn't going all the way over there but anything for you babe, want to come with me?"
she cheesed, "yess daddy."
