II. Him

*Chapter 2*

For the past week Vanessa has been studying non-stop, well at least that’s what her parents believe.  Her father has been on her case since they just moved that she missed lessons from her old school, back home. But even though Vanessa hadn’t been studying, she still managed to keep her grades high. Once her school back home went on winter break, she was relieved of homework and online work. She would then resume her normal classes at Mullingar High.

(A/N: I don’t live in Ireland so let’s just pretend yeah? k cool.)

 Vanessa was a little reluctant to start her junior year here, in a new place. She also would be embarrassed to be confronted by that mysterious boy who caught her checking him out. Hoping she wouldn’t run into him at school, she decided since she was done with her studies she would check and walk around local Ireland. Explaining to her parents that she was going out for some coffee and a muffin, she left to her journey towards town. Vanessa saw a sign in the distance:

‘Mullingar Mall.’

 Score! What’s a better way to spend her day than going to the mall? Walking toward the mall she spotted a small café, suddenly remembering she hadn’t eaten breakfast she stopped to get a breakfast sandwich and coffee. Sitting at a table, she looked into the alleyway and noticed the same group of boys.

Crap.

Crap.

Crap.

She tried her best to avoid them, or more so him. She gathered her belongings and power-walked to the mall. On the other hand, he saw her, walking towards the mall. Ever since that day when he caught her staring at him, he was mesmerized. But he knew she was way too good for him, just looking at her house he knew. He wanted to change her, he needed to change her.

Vanessa could finally breathe when she got into the mall, she hoped she lost them. Walking around looking at the shops in the mall, she rummaged her pockets for the $60 she brought with her. Luck was on her side, since she thought she lost it while scurrying to pack her items in the café. She walked into stores and decided to buy some clothes and shoes. She spent the rest of her morning and afternoon shopping and walking around the mall. Luckily, she hasn’t spotted the blond mystery man. Once it was around one in the afternoon, Vanessa decided her shopping adventure was over, she was about to leave when she saw a Victoria’s Secret. She suddenly stopped and skipped to that store. It’s not that she liked that store so much; she just always had her mom dragging her to the store and embarrassing the daylights out of her. So being there alone without her mom was a pretty big step for her. She searched around the store looking for undergarments. Something caught her attention though, in the middle of the store there was a huge pile of bras and etc. (A/N: We’re pretending here ok.) She looked through all the bras then suddenly someone popped out of the pile, and she screamed.

“Hey babe, I think this is your size.” He stated whilst holding up a bra, winking. Vanessa froze, not because he scared her, but because it was him. The boy with tattoos, piercings, the one who caught her staring and most of all, the one who followed her.

“U-uh.” Vanessa stuttered not knowing how to answer the blond.

“I believe it is, so I’m going to buy it for you, okay babe.” He smirked, walking toward to the cash register.
