Midnight Fights

Sheena's POV

I tossed my self in my bed from here to there.

God I can't sleep....!!!

What else do think would happen if you sleep for four freaking hours??

I looked at the clock, 12:00 AM.

I have been trying to sleep for 2 hours and all that is going in vain. I got up from my bed and changed my night suit. I wore a pink T-shirt and grey shorts and went out. I think a walk would be great for this kind of sleepless night.

I just turned to any hallway and walked and walked and walked. In no time I was out of the castle. I felt great being out. I mean it feels like centuries since I went out for a walk. Though I have to come out to go to the cave for the training ground. I wonder, why they have that training ground in a cave?

I looked up in the sky, there were million stars twinkling up in the sky. I love this scene. I remember back there at my house I used to come out of my house to watch these stars twinkling. I really missed my house, I miss everything, everyone.

I kept on moving, not knowing where I am going, I just keep on moving. My eyes where glued to the sky. Suddenly my foot hit something very hard.

"Ouch!" I cried. I looked down and saw that I hit a rock. That what happens when walk with your eyes up.

I realized that I was standing at the mouth of the cave which leads to the training ground. Then I had a great idea. Let's do some practice to pass time!!

I went inside and within a minute I was standing at the training ground. The sun was shining in here. I wonder how they do that?

I went to the armory and searched my sword. I really love that sword, it suits me right. I quickly found it at the end of the racks, its blue stone was shining so brightly that it blinded me. I picked it up and was on my way out of the armory when I heard something. It was more like whispering. I searched the armory but I found no one. I walked deeper into the armory, following the whisper. I stopped in front of a wooden rack. I knew that voice is coming across this rack. By this time that voice was getting a little loud but still I wasn't able to make out what it is?

I tried to move that rack but it didn't moved an inch. Finally I gave up. I looked it carefully, I noticed that one part of wood at the rack was a little different than others. I touched it a little and with just a little force, that part of wood slides open. There was a long slit on that wood, just like a key hole. I thought a little. Where is its key?

Then my eyes went on my sword which I was holding. I am having a very crazy idea but I think it might work. I put my sword on that slit, slowly. When it reached at the end, a loud 'click' sound came from the door and the rack slides open.

I grasped as it opened.

It worked!!!

It was dark in there but I was at least able to see that there are stairs. My heart was beating to fast. All the whispering went silent. As soon as I stepped on the first stair, all the lamps cracked to life. Now I am able to see.

The walls and the narrow stairs were made up of stone. It looked quite mystic, like you see in fantasy movies. I really hope these stairs do not proceed to a witch's secret lab....

I took my sword and started descending the stairs, one by one, very carefully as they are very narrow and steep. After about hundred stairs, they ended and my mouth went wide open.

There was a huge circular empty hall,filled  with sand. It looks like a training place to me, a very private training ground. There were at least ten pillars with a fire lamp between them.
