Sunday 16th May 1963
I jump out of bed and quickly get dressed 'today is the day' I thought to myself as I walk downstairs "someone looks happy" Emmett says "and a good reason too" Rosalie said "she wants me to change her today" I feels a pair of cold hands wrap around my waist as he places his head on my shoulder "good morning" he says "good morning" I say back he takes my hand and we walk to Carlisle's office "hello" he says as we walk through the door "am I changing her here so you can make sure everything goes well" Edward asked Carlisle "that would be best" he says "okay Carlisle" Edward looks at me "do you want me to change you now or later?" Edward asked me "I think now"
He pecks my lips and lays me on the bed "I love you" I say "I love you more" he says back "I love you even more" I giggle "not possible" he laughs honestly I was a little scared of how much pain I am about to go through but I know I want go be with Edward forever and this is the only way "it okay to be scared I'll be here with you through the whole thing" Edward says after reading my thoughts "your going to stay here for 3 days" I say "I'm not leaving your side" I lean up and kiss him lightly Edward grabs hold of my hand and I lay back down "are you ready?" He asked "as ready as I'll ever be" I say back he touches my arm and I tense "you need to relax" he says I relax at the sound of his soothing voice
Edward leans down and bites my neck I feel the venom spreading through me and I scream Edward grips my hand I want to let him know that I'm fine but I can't speak. I can feel the blood leaving my body and it feels like every bone in my body is being crushed to splinters I gasp for air as I try to make the pain stop but it doesn't "it is okay babe don't worry" I hear Edward say
******Next Day******
The pain slowly leaves everywhere in my body except for my heart Edward hasn't left my side like he said and I haven't really stopped screaming "How is she doing?" Carlisle says walking into the room I scream in pain "she is taking the pain better than I thought she would" I heard Edward say
My heart beat slows down but the sharp pains get stronger and stronger "you need to hunt Edward" I heard Carlisle says "I promised Vanessa I would be here for her" he says "Vanessa knows you will be here when she wakes up and you need to hunt Edward" he says "I will hunt with Vanessa when she wakes up" Edward said I feel my skin tightening and it feels like someone is tearing me apart and trying to stitch me back together again
******Time Skip******
The pain leaves whilst my heart beat is extremely slow and I know I am almost fully changed I calm down and I feel Edwards cold hands touch my forehead "it's okay Vanessa it's almost over" I hear him say I smile inside knowing this was the right decision for us I relax and wait for my heart to stop
As all the oxygen leaves my body it feels like someone is trying to take my soul but the pain is bearable I know I am almost changed but I also knew that I had a bit more pain to go through my body jerks as the pain rushes up and down my body again and I scream louder 'I want this to be over' I say to my self I close my eye's and think of mine and Edward's future together and I think of the times we have had to get my mind off the pain
I feel my heart getting slower and slower but my head starts to spin and I fell extremely sick I grab onto the side of the bed and clench my fist with one hand and I hold Edwards hand tight in my other "She's doing really well" Carlisle says "that's my Vanessa" Edward says
A sharp pain hits my head and I start to lose my vision everything around me goes foggy and I start to panic 'Vanessa it's alright" Edward says "she is scared Carlisle she just lost her vision" Edward says to him "it's okay Vanessa it's normal" I hear them say to me I take in my last breath before I lose all of my vision
I listen to see if I could hear my heart beating but it was very faint I feel Edwatds hand slowly start to losen around my fingers "She's almost finished" I hear Carlisle say just before I lost my hearing
