Chapter 5: The Same Day

Michael looked at me shocked but said nothing. I turned my attention to the players. Payton looked so cute skating around. Things sure did move fast between Payton and I. I slept with the guy and I just barley met him. I feel like a slut... A man slut... A malut? 

"You're not his first you know" Michael said abruptly

I looked at him and nodded. Of course I'm not his first, he's a hot jock.

Again Michael interrupted my thoughts. "well you are his first guy; he slept with literally almost all the girls at this school. Even his teammates girlfriends." 

I looked at him with wide eyes. "My God that's a lot of people. now I feel like I second hand slept with them." I said. wow I knew Payton was popular but I didn't think he was that popular... literally all the girls at this school? I wonder how he's not a father yet? I now feel so dirty. I looked back at the practice. Payton caught my attention again. He still looked so cute in his uniform even after a found out he's a bigger 'malut' than me.

"He's dreamy isn't he?" I asked Michael.

Michael stared at me as if I were crazy. "bruh?" he said. "how did you two even meet" he added.

I thought back to my first day. The way I met Payton wasn't all that romantic so why does he like me? Well I guess the earth science class can be a romantic place. The collection of metamorphic rocks do make the class more pretty. it can be romantic. "We met in earth science" I said. "... He  smiled at me." I added like it will help.

"How lovely... well don't date him. he'll just break your heart. Okay?" Michael told me.

I thought about and he was right. he is a player and I do not want to be played. I'm no young for it. I looked back at the ice rink and saw Payton looking at me. He then smiled and waved. I smiled like a mad man and waved back eagerly. Michael face palmed and  sighed.

"What? I said "He looks so cute n' stuff."

The rest of practice went well. Payton is a really good player. I don't think he is a star player but he's good. good is ah... good.

During some classes I noticed other students staring at me. they whispered at their friends then looked away. It was weird. Do they have dirt on me? Does my appearance scream different? ...I hope not.

After school I went home of course. The walk home was lonely but insightful. I got time to myself to think. Why does Payton like me? Is he playing me for does he really like? Where does he get his drugs? While walking home I realized one more thing why doesn't Jay drive me home? he's not busy and we leave at the same time. When I see him I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind.

I plopped on my bed and got my phone out from my pocket. No one ever messages me but I like to keep optimistic. My eyes bulged out of my head when I read that I have four texts from an unknown number. They must've known who I was since they messaged me four times. I opened my text app and read the text.

Hey this is Payton. I got your number when I umm.. slept over.

I was wondering if you were busy 'cause I want to go on a date with you.

I instantly smiled when I read those. awe do I make him nervous? Wait is this him trying to play me?

I don't know I'll have to ask my parents first - Aaron

 I hit send a played the waiting game. haha asking parents to go on a date. I'm hilarious. In no time I felt my phone vibrate.

Okay let me know what they say. :) - Payton

Does he really think I'm going to ask my parents for permission? I know I'm a good child but I'm not that good of a child. Should I go?... I'm gonna go.

They said yes. where are we going and when? - Aaron

the wait was short. I guess that means he does really like me. right?

It's a surprise and I'll pick you up at 7pm - Payton

My heart fluttered when I read "surprise". I hope it's a really romantic surprise. But Payton doesn't strike me as the romantic type. I wonder why I want all this romance all of a sudden. What am I a girl on her first day of high school?  I hope this date isn't one of those Netflix n' Chill drive in theater thing.

Okay, I'll be waiting - Aaron

 I hit send before i realized that sound so sluty... Great, ugh.

"Why you smiling little bro?" Jay announced as he walked into my room. He walked to my bed and sat down next to me.

"Nothing, just texting." I answered still staring at my phone. Will Jay disapprove if I tell?... I think so, If I were him I would disapprove.

"Who is the one making you smile then?" He asked.

I never kept secrets from Jay before. he was the first one I told when I discovered I had powers. He was also the first one to know that I  was gay. I'm gonna tell him.

"I have a date today." I told him.  He looked at me and smiled.

"Already? it's like literally your first week in school" He said.

He's right.

"Who asked you out?" he added.

Jay the protective older brother. I know that's the reason why he's so invasive and annoying. He cares for me. "Payton Dott." I said. He fell silent.

After a few seconds he responded "I think that's not a good idea"

I gave him a confused look "And why is that?"

He looked at me like that was the most stupidest question he ever heard.

"I just think it'll be best to date someone who is a little nicer. you know someone who will truly like you".

Ouch that hurt. But I'm sure he really likes me. He invited me to his practice and I'm sure that's a very big deal in high school.

"Hey, that's rude. If you know how I feel why would you say that?" I fake cried out. Now he looked confused.

"seriously?" he said.

"yes I'm serious. I'm going on that date. I think it'll be fun."

Jay looked at me and moved his lips to say something but interrupted. "okay can you go know? I have to get ready. Payton will be here in a few hours."

Epp I can't wait for my date.

Long time no update. I hope this chapter was good. I feel like continuing this story. I know it's been more than a year. I started this story in I think 2014. lolz
