MisD3Eds: "GG NO RE"
I got a little bit upset at that. I mean, granted we have been playing for a good four hours. Still it is so early here.
MisD3Eds: "Was a good game. Although you were an absolute pleb. Like seriously your k/d was shit."
That's true. In my defence though I had only used the champion once before. Looks like trying something new wasn't the best idea.
Me: "Yeah yeah I know it was crap. But you can't give me shit you were terrible when you started a few months ago haha."
MisD3Eds: "Whatever all I know is I did a better job that round then you did and that is all that matters ;). Anyway I have to go it's really late. Night."
Me: "Yeah night talk tomorrow."
MisD3Eds has gone offline.
Time zones suck sometimes. It's only 1 pm here. But then again it is midnight over there and school is still a thing. Speaking of. I probably should have gone today. Erica and that would be upset but they will live. What was the point of school anyway? We just go to get told things we will never use again, By people who barely know what they are teaching themselves. It is essentially a stupid fucking day care centre for kids. Ok I am not a child. I'm 17. But still. I better get ready. Better to be late then nothing.
Time Skip to School
2pm... Eh. Could be worse. I don't think I could even come up with a valid excuse for being so late. And the man in the office doesn't even bother asking me any more. He just hands me a note and I walk off. No words are exchanged as I walk off to class. The only good thing I guess is the last class is English. Easy class to relax in. Walking in is different though. A different teacher... Must be a sub.
Me: "Sorry I'm late miss something something."
Ms Klean: "Names Klean. Your regular teacher had to call in sick so here I am. Take your seat and just get the word off someone."
Walking to my seat I see Nathan. Not the brightest person in the world but he is still a good friend. He just slides over his book to my side. I read it for a few minutes. Alliteration and Metaphors. So much fun. (can people pick up on apathy through a screen?) I look up pretending to be interested when Nathan taps me on the shoulder and pushes a message over my way on a blank piece of paper with a pencil.
"Erica had to go home sick but she said she sent you an email with your work for maths."
Erica was probably my only female friend. She was pretty don't get me wrong but I don't know. I've never really felt anything there but she has always had my back over the years so I never really let her go.
"Thanks man. I will have to check it when I get home."
The bell had rung for class to end. Didn't realise it had gone so quickly. But I did walk into school at 2. Class ends for the day at 2:30... Why did I even bother?
I walk out of school and head home. Half way down the street I get a text from Erica.
Erica: "Hey just letting you know maths has been sent. Have fun."
Nice and to the point. She never really minced words and I guess that is one thing I do genuinely like about her. Always straight to the point.
Getting home in the afternoon gets boring. No one is online and no one is able to talk. Homework makes sure you never have a social life outside of the classroom. Checking the Maths work Erica sent. Simple algebra.
Finishing homework in an hour is the easy part. The hard part is the fact I have to entertain myself until Deeds comes back online. Pulling my chair closer to my Computer. Loading up League. I feel like I could do this in my sleep I play the game so often. My phone goes off while waiting for a game.
Erica: " Hey Luca I will be at school tomorrow. Sorry I had to go home I got pretty sick after lunch. Turns out was just a migraine so all good now. See you tomorrow."
Ah gross. But yeah. Maybe I should actually try being at school on time...
