Complications?

I wake up the next morning to my alarm clock going off next to my head. I don't know why I set an alarm. Wait. Hold up I didn't set an alarm. I open my eyes and jump out of bed. Mitch just laughed.

Mitch: "Wakey wakey."

Luca: "Eggs and bacey?"

Mitch: "No sorry. Megan said she has cereal and fruit."

Luca: "So we have depression and sadness?"

He just laughs at this and tells me to get ready. I forgot we were staying with Megan for the week. Which means early mornings. I don't know how she does it. Then again you would get use to it after a while. After finally opening my eyes and not having to close them immediately after. I get up and get changed for school. Thursday, just like Wednesday, can go die in a hole.

Everyone is down in the kitchen when I get there. Guess I'm the last one.

Megan: "Morning sleeping beauty."

Luca: "I have nothing but pity for you having to wake up so early every day."

Megan: "Nathan said the same thing when he first stayed over."

Nathan: "Hey at least you didn't have to wake up Erica."

Erica: "I said sorry didn't I?"

Lachlan leaned over to me and whispered in my ear.

Lachlan: "She slapped him."

I couldn't help myself but laugh. I nearly fell over but I put a hand on the counter top.

Mitch: "Lachlan don't you talk you said you would cut a bitch if you had to wake up that early again."

We all lost it that time. Megan checked the clock and sighed.

Megan: "Alright who's going with who?"

Only Nathan and Mitch drove.

Erica: "I'll go with the boys."

Luca: "Looks like I'm with you two then."

We just made our way to our rooms and grabbed our bags and headed to the cars. I waved off to Erica and the boys as they drove off. Nathan ran up behind me and slapped my shoulders.

Nathan: "I know you weren't waving at Mitch or Lachlan. Anything I should know?"

Luca: "Shut up. Just being friendly."

Well friendly and I remember what Lachy said. It would be really cruel to leave Erica by herself. I'm starting to like the idea of going next week. Or maybe I just want to see her. I pull out my phone and check Skype. Nothing. I go to put it back in my pocket.

MisD3Eds: Sup loser. Isn't it fucked o'clock over there?

Luca: You have a way with words don't you? But yes It is "fucked" o'clock here. On my way to school.

MisD3Eds: Well at least your going to school. I couldn't go today. Got sick.

That kind of sucked. I wish I was there to get anything she needed. Look after her. Wait no I haven't even seen what she looks like. But even so. She is amazing. And has helped me a lot.

MisD3Eds: Anyway I better let you go. Have fun pleb :).

She didn't even give me a chance to answer back. Megan finally comes running out.

Nathan: "I thought we would be late."

Megan: "Trust me we won't be late."

We climb into the car. And are off on our to school.

TIME SKIP TO SCHOOL

The ride here was quiet. And yet, as Megan said, we got there in time. Only just though. We quickly met up with Erica, Mitch and Lachlan. Said hi then the bell rings. Erica grabs my hand and leads me class. History. I just look at her as she drags me along. She looks at me quickly noticing that I'm looking at her and turns away blushing. And let's go of my hand. Aww no. Don't let go.

Erica: "Sorry come on."

We walk into class and get prepared for boredom. I think this is the only class I pay attention in. No distractions from the others. And I know Eri would kick my butt if I didn't do the work. But I couldn't concentrate. Not today. Thinking about Deeds being sick. And looking at Erica. Her hair is like an Ash Blonde. Only going down to her shoulders but as straight as hair can get. Another thing to add to the list. Her hair is amazing... Really Luca. Hair.

TIME SKIP

I hate geography. It was the only class I didn't have any one. Always going slow. But the bell rung and I was on my way to sit down and just relax.

Megan: "YOU CAN'T WEAR THAT!"

Oh boy.

Mitch: "WHY NOT!?"

I look at Nathan and Erica look at me and shake their heads. What don't come over or don't ask. Me being the stupid dick I am. Did both.

Luca: "What's going on? Why are you two screaming?"

I just look at Nathan taking a step back. Erica slaps her forehead. Oh boy.

Megan: "THIS IDIOT WANTS TO WEAR A BLUE TUXEDO WITH A YELLOW TIE!"

Mitch: "IT WOULD LOOK GOOD!"

Megan: "SURE IF HELL WAS FUCKING FROZEN!"

I couldn't help it. I lost it. They both glared at me but I couldn't stop.

Luca: "Seriously you guys are arguing about the colour of your tie and tux. Really? Megan who cares. Your going with Nathan. And I'm pretty sure the only person your trying to impress Mitch doesn't mind either way right?"

They both look at me with an even worse look.

Erica: "Geez guys calm down he stated the obvious. And besides id rather you didn't look at him or anyone like they just murdered the pope."

Nathan: "That's one way to put it."

Heh she said me specifically and added the anyone. That made me smile and feel fuzzy inside. But I'm not supposed to feel that way am I?

Erica: "Speaking of someone you're trying to impress. Where is Lachy?"

I did notice he hadn't come by yet. He is here that's for sure. Mitch looked around getting flustered. He might have been too engrossed in him and Megan arguing. Mitch ran off and Megan followed. It's amazing how quick a conversation can die off when someone isn't here. I just look at Nathan and Erica. Erica looks a bit upset. Nathan just shrugged.

Luca: "Erica did something happen in the car on the way here?"

Erica: "No."

I didn't believe her for a second. But I want to. I got up and ran after Megan. She was the closest. And not necessarily the fastest person in the world.

Megan: "Mitch kept running. Erica said in PE that Mitch and Lachlan had a bit of an argument in the car. That's why we were talking earlier."

Luca: "If that's your definition of talking. I'd hate to see you get angry."

I thought it best to stay our of it. I walked back to Erica and put my arms around her. She just looked down and started to fidget. But I wasn't letting go.

Luca: "Your a terrible liar you know that right?"

Erica just looked at me and smiled shyly. Looked down and then grabbed hold of my hands. I'm really starting to like her. But we heard the sound of next class. IPT. Looks like I won't be able to escape from Lachlan.
