Highs and Lows

After the final bell had rung for the day. Relieved that the day was over we left the gym and made our way to the car. Lachlan and Mitch said they would meet us at Megan's place. After getting in and swapping seats with Seth. We were on our way home.

Megan: "Does anyone else find it a bit strange that it was only a rumour that set everyone off?"

Erica: "Not really."

I just shrugged. I didn't really know what to make of it.

Nathan: "Well at least no one got hurt right?"

Seth: "Hey come on. Nothing happened. Just forget the day happened. This last week should be easy going anyway."

He had a point. Since we were all in the same classes for the week. It would be easy to keep together.

After riding for almost an hour we had reached home.

Bing

La: "Hey guys. Mitch and I will be there around 6 ish."

Me: "Alright cool see you then."

S: "Sorry about today guys."

La: "It's cool Mitch has calmed down now. He feels worse about the fact he almost believed her. But I got this."

Lu: "Didn't need to know."

Getting out of the car and making our way inside. We just walked off to our rooms. I booted up my computer and quickly hopped into the call with everyone.

Luca: "Hey guys."

Erica: "Hey we were about to start a game. You want in?"

Luca: "Yeah sure give me a sec. Mitch and Lachlan not playing?"

Megan: "Nah I just got a text from Lachlan saying they just left."

Luca: "Ok Cool."

Time Skip An Hour

I heard a car turn up outside and the front door open and close. I got up and thought I'd say hi. I mean it would be pretty slack if they found me at my computer. Walking down the stairs towards the Lounge room. I noticed a few drops of blood on the floor. I raced into the Lounge room to see Mitch with an ice pack on his chin.

Luca: "The fuck have you done now?"

Mitch: "I got angry that I almost believed Jessica."

Luca: "Still?"

Mitch: "Yeah though I snapped and slapped Lachlan. I didn't realise I did it until he turned around and punched me in the jaw."

Lachlan: "He deserved it. He hit first."

Megan: "Granted but you shouldn't have hit back."

Lachlan: "Yeah yeah I know. But here we are. I'm going to grab the box and our bag's."

He ran off to the car and we didn't hear anything as he unpacked.

Megan: "Now. There is to be none of that bullshit here. If you guys are going to fight. Go do it in your room. I have to go clean up some blood if you don't mind."

Nathan walked in with a bloody tea towel.

Nathan: "Sorry I beat you to it. What do you want me to do with this?"

Megan: "Does blood come out?"

Seth: "Don't think so. I never tried."

Megan: "Throw it in one of the empty pot plants outside and burn it. Just put it out when it's done."
