Chapter One

#FLASHBACK#

He was everything. He was my best friend since we were 4.

Then one day, he got hit by a car. It was the worst day of my life. Since his had ended . Wouldn't you know, he was crossing the street to come over to my house. He has walked across that street so many times to come to my house.

He had started walking across the street when the hand signal said walk. But some idiot bastard ran the red light and killed him.

It was only 9am when I walked downstairs to find my mother, talking on the phone that connected to the wall, when the other person on the phone spoke, the phone dropped to the floor.

"Mom? What's happened?" I said, worrying frantically, shock written all over her face, then grief.

She crouched down, and pulled me in for a hug.

"Sweetie, Liam isn't coming over to play today."

"Why mom? What's happened?" I was worried of course, he's my best friend, playmate, I actually was starting to have a crush on him back then.

"He-he got hit by a car."she stuttered.

I started to cry . She had wiped my tears away and pulled me closer, and sobbed on her shoulder.

"He's ok right?" I asked.

Her eyes started to fill with tears also, and spoke once more.

"He's dead." She barely whispered.
