{Flashback}

Two can play at that game.

{PRESENT}

I put in my earbuds an started humming along to my music.

I started skipping along the dirt gravel road. I don't know where I'm going , just away for a bit of time.

Perhaps I could go to the bar for a few hours?

Or go bowling;

Take an endless walk downtown.

I am still not sure, so for now I will walk to town, all emotions clouded by my thoughts of my music.

Currently I am listening to hey there Delilah.

I love this damn song.

It sounds like hopeless love.

My exact current position.

I do not think I should do anything yet; wait for my mates turn next.

When I finally make it into town, I see groups of people, this place must be a gold mine.

I head into the coffee shop. I head back into the corner table. A lady comes and takes my order. Cappuccino .

After that, my drink arrives, I pay, and I watch the streets out the window.

Soon after, I get a book out to read. It's called "things I know about love."

Soon I finish, my eye lids are drooping, my heart breaking for the girl who died.

Every time it got to a romantic part my mind floated back to my mate, Jake.

I wonder if he's even come looking for me. Probably not. The town would be in shreds. I sigh, I thought I would've meant more to my own mate.

Getting lost in my own thoughts, I didn't notice someone walk in and take a seat across from me until they cleared they're throat.

"Hello?"
