Chapter Eighteen

When I emerged above water, I opened my eyes only to see Jake in front of me. My eyes were wide with shock. Did not expect that one. How'd he get in the water so fast?

"You scared the living bats outta me!" I said angrily at him.

"Pack living room.tonight,there's a pack party, and were playing games." He said cockily with a smirk.

"An that's an order. Wear something nice." He added quickly before hopping out and going over to talk to the lifeguard. I sighed. I was going to go out tonight to be free. Oh well . I guess I'll stay here and see what these "games" are. Probably spin the bottle and seven minutes in Heaven.

I hopped out the pool, just watching the others chill out and play. All of a sudden, my stomach growled. I looked around making sure no one noticed, even though my face must be bright red by now, I quickly got up, wrapped my towel around me, and grabbed my bag and went inside the pack house upstairs.

As I went to my room, I took a shower, and changed into my undergarments, black basketball shorts, black tank tops, and flip-flops. I put my hair up in a ponytail and put on mascara.

I went downstairs . It's only like 4pm. I went to the cabinets and got a bowl, strawberries and chocolate dip.

Then I went upstairs, being in the mood to cuddle, instead of going to my room, I went to the room across mine-his.

Thankfully, it was unlocked. I sneaked in, and quickly closed his door. I went to his bed, put the bowl of chocolate strawberries on the bedside table.i then got underneath his blankets, and smelled them. They smelled so much like him. It smelt so good.

Soon after being so relaxed, I fell asleep.

< WHEN ELEANOR AWOKE.. >

I awoke when I felt electricity run through my body. Him.

I sat up, and looked around when I realized he was next to me his back towards me. The lights were out, the windows seemed to be dark-I slept till night! Don't tell me I missed that party!! I immediately shook Jake, frantically worried I missed Saturday night party . Made me sad.

He rolled over, facing me.

"What? What's wrong" he said in a worried voice, looking through my eyes as if to find the answers.

"Didimisstheparty?" I said quickly.

"What?" He asked.

"Did.i.miss.the.party?" I asked slowly dragging out the words.

"Oh, yea." He stated simply. I saw his head turn towards something. I looked over where he was looking to notice an alarm clock. 4AM in the morning.

"You should get back to sleep."

I shook my head.

I put my arms out, asking him to hug me. He blinked and then pulled me towards his chest in a hug . He held me tight, as if he was going to lose me any moment.

It felt so nice, tingles erupted throughout my body. I instantly relaxed .

Soon, I fell through a darkness called sleep.
