Tiny drops of tear cascaded down your cheeks, mixing into your blood stained face. You tightly clenched the handle of the double blades.
There you were: lying lifelessly on the cold hard ground.
How did you end up in this position? You saved a newbie. You pushed him out of the way just before he got eaten. However, you lost both of your legs in the process of doing so. What was his name again? Eren? The over-confident one?
This must be the cruel end.
Ah. This must be what I get for being a hero in someone else's eyes.
"P-please...g-get up. Y-you can't die out here," a voice said, shaking you gently. It's Eren. That fool you just saved before.
